during Mattel's early days there was a few problems with quality control, in which cases people were buying figures with odd parts. for example, I bought a christian figure with his eyebrows on upside down, and big show's feet. Mattel stopped doing the drug free tattoo's on CM Punk because they didnt like the word "drug" being used or something like that. I got to wondering has anyone ever seen or own a CM Punk figure that was a casualty of Mattel's early quality control problems and have "Free Drug" knuckle tattoos? though the possibility is low, this thread will be dedicated to Mattel Factory error figures, please dont post carding errors they're just boring

Sorry about the flash but you can clearly see "drug" on his knuckles.

Mattel stopped doing the drug free tattoo's on CM Punk because they didnt like the word "drug" being used or something like that. I think they were lying when they said that. It's still on all of his elites -- it's on Elite 1, 6, 16 and WM28, anyway. I can't find All Stars, Elite 11 or RSC Punk to check if they have it but I think they do.

I know the figures have the tats, but I wanted to know if Mattel ever messed up and had the "drug" on the left hand and the "free" on the right

Sorry about the flash but you can clearly see "drug" on his knuckles. I'm pretty sure "drug free" is still on all of his elites, but the basics no longer feature it.

The reason he doesn't have them on his Basic figures it budget stuff, the who not wanting the word Drug is the packaging, parents will not buy things simply because of the word Drug, thus it is removed from the picture of Punk on the package.

My Demolition Smash had one leg waaay shorter than the other. Probably at least a quarter inch; he couldn't stand up.

My Elite Drew McIntyre has 2 right boots, he has both right and left feet though, just the buckles on the boot dont face the right way on the left one.

My first Primo figure (wasn't it 2-packs series 2?) has two right feet. I also saw an Undertaker from basic 7 that had exactly one half of his goatee painted, right down the middle on the left side if I remember correctly.
And this really isn't an error on the same scale as these, but there was an Elimination Chamber Batista at a CVS not far from here that hung around for a long time, most of last year, that had bad paint slop on his face. There were also some drips onto the chest, but the reason the paint slop was funny, was because it was right under the eye and looked like a tear drop tattoo. I had been tempted a few times to buy him because of how high he goes online, but in the end the paint slop would be damn near impossible to clean up and it just didn't seem worth the extra effort.
