Today I got a letter in the mail saying how those UPC's don't count. I gave them a call because I did also purchase the complete BOPPV 2 set but I figured it didn't matter if I sent them BOPPV or Elite 17 but it does. I now sent out the BOPPV 2 UPC's which I know qualify's because the women on the phone checked. However they still have my receipts so hopefully they don't give me another run around or they will be hearing from me again.
So anyone looking to send or has sent in Elite 17 you apparently won't qualify. Kinda funny the one Elite set that TRU actually ya know, GETS IN doesn't count. Luckily the BOPPV 2 figures count though.

Hmm wow. Guess I'll be going back to TRU today with my receipts to get the adjustment after all. BOGO half off gets me back some good $$ on them.

That sucks. You should have reviewed the list in order to avoid this situation. I guess Mattel wasn't expecting to have E17 in stores at this time or they thought The WM28 Elites would have been shipped to TRU sooner. Maybe that's why they extended the promo.

WTF why wouldn't E17 count towards the promotion?? Total nonsense...guess I gotta get two more figures now. Exactly it's pretty ridiculous. I honestly figured any Elite's counted from Elite 13 on but I guess that isn't the case. The sad thing is they are giving a hard time over a figure they will probably have a ton of left over that will just sit in the warehouse until they likely sell them to Ringside or somewhere else willing to buy them. |

It's pretty bogus. Most of the eligible sets never made it to my TRU, and the one that isn't eligible is the one that did. Okay, so the first BOPPV basic set was eligible and in stock. Pardon me while I continue not wanting that Chocolate Sharkty overpriced repaint set.
