Isn't it about time? This website has sections for posting collections, sections for figure finding, sections for customs and fix ups, but.... no one uses them really do they. Half of the crap ends up in this forum. I am primarily interested in two things on this site. And I imagine most users are probably similar. - The UK/US figure finding thread (The UK one is excellent BTW)
- News on NEW figures/toys, pictures of NEW figures q&a on NEW figures (New being the operative word.
It is becoming increasingly tedious to find such posts in the Mattel forum, because you get 274 people telling us about their new arrival everyday, or someone swapped a leg on a Macho Man figure or whatever. I love seeing expansive collections displayed well. And new items or rare items But does anyone really care that Corey in Wyoming, found a WM 27 Rock, on his way home from a hike through the National park, in a run down TRU hidden away in a remote town? they made a zillion of them, we know what it looks like!!! Either the moderaters should start to enforce the rules that they created, or they should think about a NEW thread, for NEW items, that are actually interesting to read about.

Theres a figure finding board, a customs board, fix ups threads and collection threads on both Jakks and Mattel boards, been like this for years, it's not gonna change because 1 guy wants it to.

The board is fine the way it is. If too many rules are enforced it just becomes a pain for everyone and takes away the fun that forums like this has... Trust me from past experiences on super strict forums. Besides, some people could want to see what other people are buying so there is something for everyone on this board, why take that away just because one person is upset?

I agree....so enforce the rules better no? why do we have go through pages of that crap to read anything worthwhile?

The UK figure finding thread does exactly what it's supposed to, and the people in it find it invaluable. This general forum has become a dumping ground because no one can be bothered to do things properly.

I do agree with you and to many people make pointless threads asking dumb questions.

I do agree with you and to many people make pointless threads asking dumb questions. Google and the search function are too much effort for the cyber generation..... I've never failed to find info within this website on a google search. 2 mins of research is quicker than waiting for someone to answer for you.

And of course karma takes a because someone has fresh ideas or critisism!! Obviously failing to read the positives of the thread...
I'll let the people that matter take a look at this, a post from a business analyst at a top tier investment bank, as opposed to the people who are scared by a little bit of evolution..

Post from a business analyst? It's a figure forum, people post about figures. If anything is worthwhile to talk about, then people will talk about it and it will remain on the first page for awhile.
It's fine the way it is. If you don't like the way it is, don't come on here.

Seriously? Ambitions? This forum isn't my life. It's a forum. A place to discuss collecting. That's what we do, why change it?

Yea i think if you have such a big issue with this forum you should take your "investment" elsewhere. No one gives a crap what you pretend to do for a living or that you dont know how to use this boards search function.
This is really basic stuff....not an insiders news site. Theres a pretty simple function called "bookmark" that you can use to keep threads that interest you....but i guess that is too advanced for you.
Besides that we get "news" like once every two months on new figures etc. So what are we supposed to do? Just sit here and wait only until there is new stuff to post? This forum is for a hobby....not a way of life.

Arrow top left corner of your screen or the X at the top right corner of your screen is the two things you keep meaning to hit. Not the Post reply button at the bottom. Please do one of the two and go away now.
