Black Dynamite has so much good stuff, you miss half of it on a first watch.
Sarcastically, I'm in charge.

Star Wars Episodes, IV, V, and VI, The Wizard of Oz, Titanic, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Ghostbusters, Batman (1989), Halloween (1978).....these movies get better every time I watch them.
However, any movie with Jim Carrey in it gets worse and worse to me the more I watch them because I'm starting to get annoyed at how every single one of his movies is like he's the same character with the same mannerisms and the same method of delivering lines.
Like "The Grinch", for example...that movie is NOT Jim Carrey playing The Grinch. That movie is like watch The Grinch ACT LIKE JIM CARREY!
Pretty much since Ace Ventura, every comedy Jim Carrey has been in has been like him just acting in the same mannerisms. I mean, it's alright, but it's kinda played out.

Big dislike for me is Star Wars. First time I watched it, I liked it because it had an adventure feel in a very unfamiliar setting. But since seeing much better Sci-Fi over the years (including Star Trek TOS), Star Wars is essentially just a fun movie for children and not much else. Not that they aren't enjoyable to watch but as far as film goes, they just aren't good. The more I watch American Psycho, the more I feel like it's just a slightly above average movie. Yeah it has some decent social commentary and some well done scenes, but as a whole it's just kind of stupid and over-praised.
On the other hand, there's several movies that I can just watch over and over again and never get tired of. Best case of this for me is Pulp Fiction. I'm just more impressed with it every time I see it. On a similar note, Scarface will never bore me. I know it's a really trashy and juvenile film, but it has this charm created by the characters, locations, set pieces and dialogue that has made it probably my most watched movie. Only other one I can think of is Oldboy. I love showing it to friends who have never seen it before to see how they react to it. As a film, it also just constantly amazes me with how god damn perfect everything is in it.
oh crap and how did I forget... EVIL DEAD 2. I can watch that over and over and over.

I didn't like Pulp Fiction when I first saw it because I wasn't paying close enough attention, so the out-of-sequence scenes and a lot of the subtleties confused me. Now, it's my favorite movie.
The Breakfast Club bored me initially (then again I was very young when I first saw it); now I enjoy it.
I always liked Almost Famous, but I like it even more after multiple viewings.

As I've gotten older I find myself getting less impressed with Kevin Smith's movies. Clerks would be the exception but I'm beginning to fear if I re-watched it I'd just find it less funny. It's strange because I still find Kevin Smith himself hilarious (<3 the Evening With Kevin Smith trilogy).
