What makes you wanna buy a PPV more.
(e.g) Ryback vs CM Punk for the WWE title Having a relatively new guy, spring up from the midcard and grasp a main event spot, making angles very interesting as a new champion could be crowned and you know it'd be a historic moment, either as a win or fail. (see John Cena vs Sheamus at TLC)
(e.g) Daniel Bryan vs CM Punk for the WWE title You know its gonna be an instant classic wrestling match, with loads of excitement behind it because you know the match is gonna be good.
Just used those people in bold as references, as opposed to using "person A & B".....
Out of these two options what would draw you to buy a PPV / or if you buy all WWE's PPVs which scenario would you be more hyped for.

I'd go option B if I had to choose one. At this point The Rock is the lone wrestler that sells a PPV for me. I got Survivor Series last year, due only to Rock. Same thing with Mania's replay after I attended the show(flew from Ohio). No one WWE talent sells a show, it's the brand name that does the selling in 2012.

Match potential and build means the most to me. Even if Punk/Bryan is almost a guaranteed instant classic, if there's no story behind it and I don't feel like anything is going to happen one way or the other, than I see little purpose in spending money on it.
Money in the Bank 2011 is a perfect example. Cena/Punk was must see. As a wrestling fan, I didn't feel like I could miss seeing that match live, and so I ordered the show.
Nearly every show felt like that years ago. Now it's a rarity.

I don't buy PPV's due to not having digital cable. I would buy a PPV if they had a hardcore evening gown match for the WWE championship

Why I wouldn't go with option A: Ryback in the main event pretty much means he won't win due to some crazy shenanigans that we don't see coming...Not saying he doesn't deserve the main event spot but fool me once shame on me, fool me twice shame on you because i will NOT fall for it a third time...

Hell in a Cell was free here, and I probably wouldn't have bought it, but it was the first pay-per-view since Extreme Rules that I would have been very tempted to buy. The main event really felt like it mattered. None of CM Punk's title reign up until that point really mattered. The stuff with Ziggler was unimportant and the result too obvious, the feud with Jericho was crap and Jericho winning the title is no big deal, the Bryan/Kane/Punk/AJ story was crap (and result too obvious again), and Cena/Big Show winning the title again is no big deal to me.
But the thing with Ryback coming from out of nowhere into the main event had me hooked. That match mattered. Whichever way it went, something big had to happen. WWE had to either end Punk's long title reign or kill the best chance they had to make a new star. And they did. Ryback's screwed now. I'd have felt cheated if I had bought the PPV (because they didn't even kill Ryback in an exciting way like they did this week), but in the lead-up to it, I would have definitely been tempted to buy it.

I don't buy the PPV's anymore. Not because I'm not interested. I actually enjoy the product today for the most part. I just go to a local place that serves good food with some friends. They always show the pay-per-views and the crowd that goes there during that time are actual wrestling fans so it's a real cool atmosphere. I have a blast.

I don't think I've ever bought a PPV based solely on the main event.

WrestleMania 28 and Money In The Bank 2011 have been the only PPV's actualy worth paying money to watch in many a year, based on build.
