So I bought a leather jacket off ebay a few weeks ago, the seller stated he was away untill 11th of November, so that was cool I knew he was away.
Still haven't received anything from him. He said the jacket was posted with SkyNet Courier but never provided me with a tracking number, looking back over his feedback he has 14 negative feedback recently.
Looks to me like he's a scammer, he's ignore my messages so I'm thinking I need to open a case against him to get my money back. However, seeing as other people have left bad feedback stating he never posted their item and they didnt get a refund, I'm was wondering if I can press charges against him?

I hate it when people do that, you can get refund as its not your fault! Just open the case in PayPal and they always do the right thing.

oh yeah they always do the right thing for a person at a time, but the fact that the seller doesnt get any backlash is pretty bad, they're allowed to carry on selling.... and scamming

If I was you I'd tell the buyer that your giving him til Monday then your going to open a case. Also it's worth pointing out that it is approaching Christmas and packets are building up so give home abit of a chance with that.

Sadly happens this time of year, people work up selling smaller things and stuff getting positive feedback then rip off a bunch of people all at once with more expensive items and piss off with the cash

...I'm amazed he's still allowed to trade on eBay if he has 14 recent negative feedbacks(!) Maybe you could phone/contact eBay and tell them the details and that he appears to be a scammer... they might (should) remove or suspend or his account.
