Hey guys, I think I've come across some of you talking about this on here, but how could I turn a Mattel ring into a 90's era ring with red, white, blue ropes, blue posts/turnbuckels etc. It's not an elite scale ring, it came with the TRU pack with hhh/taker. It has the springloaded mat. What did you guys use for ropes, should I just dye my white ones? And whats a good paint for the plastic pieces. And does Dean have old logo decals for the buckels. Thanks everyone

Just use the Tribute to The Troops ring; it already has blue turnbuckles and Red/White/Blue ropes. Here's the one Dean did: So when I got my Tribute to the Troops ring my girlfriend said "Why don't you make replacement stickers to make it look more like the WWF ring?" Today I finished them and I'm pretty pleased with the results. Here's some pics of my ring in action. inspiration pic.

Wrap the ropes in electrical tape. I done that to mine and it came out pretty good, even made the ropes a bit tighter too.

I just love the George Steele & Savage pictures! How on earth did you pose Randy pearched up high on the top rope ready to put away The Dragon for the 3 count in front of 93,173 screaming fans???
