Well, this can't be any worse than what happened in the real world, so I'll give it a chance.

I might be in the minority, but there is plenty of talent here to work with. Good luck, I hope you use some of the younger talent t their fullest.

Looking forward to seeing how you utilize this. Good roster, it was poor execution in reality. I know from your past work that you'll be able to do it all right.

WCW Spring Stampede - April 16th, 2000 United Center - Chicago, IllinoisThe shows opens with the music of The New Blood hitting the speakers. Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo lead the group of young guns to the ring.Eric Bischoff: Now you see, tonight is a revolutionary night in professional wrestling. No longer will those old washed up talents be hogging the spot light. It is time for the young generation, the NEW BLOOD of professional to take over WCW. Vince Russo: ...and you know what Eric, we have already made some decisions. Hulk Hogan, he has been banned from the arena tonight. Don't want 'em, don't need 'em. Sid Vicious, he's out, on the shelf. Have fun watching from the hospital Sidney. Eric Bischoff: So tonight, we are calling it right now, a clean sweep for the New Blood, a clean sweep... for a new generation. The New Blood leaves the ring, as we head into our first match. Mike Awesome vs. The Cat The in ring debut of Mike Awesome is a great one, after several attempts at showcasing his karate abilities. The Cat tried many kicking combinations that were fought off by Awesome, barely having an affect on the big man. Awesome would catch a straight kick of The Cat, spin him around and hit a huge lariat, followed by an Awesome Bomb for the three count. Winner: Mike AwesomeBackstage Fit Finlay and Brian Knobbs are amping each other up for the Hardcore Championship match that is next. They tell each other that their is no friends in the hardcore environment. WCW Hardcore Championship Brian Knobbs vs. Terry Funk vs. Fit Finlay vs. Norman SmileyKnobbs and Finlay end up teaming up during most the match, nailing Screamin' Norman with a double suplex through a table. Terry Funk fought most of this match wildly swinging a chair at whatever moved. Norman did the big wiggle to both Knobbs and Finlay as they were dazed on the ropes. Norman turned around into a vicious chair shot from Funk. That would only get a two as the other men broke it up. All hell would break loose between Knobbs and Finlay, who both had their arms broken at the hands of Lex Luger one month earlier, throwing their casted arms at each other, they both screamed in pain. Norman and Funk then started an assault with kendo sticks on the casted men. The finish would happen when Funk hit Norman with a piledriver on a chair for the three. Winner and NEW Hardcore Champion: Terry FunkScott Steiner vs. The WallThis match was a quick one. The Wall stood no chance against the Genetic Freak. Steiner would toss the big man around the ring with the belly to belly before locking in the Steiner Recliner for a quick submission victory around the 4 minute mark.Winner: Scott SteinerBackstage Team Package is getting ready for their match in The Millionaire's Club locker room. Diamond Dallas Page wishes them luck, and hopes that they teach these kids who runs this place. Team Package vs. The Harris Brothers & The MamalukesThe odds were stacked against Flair and Luger in this match, not only did they have Big Ron and Heavy D to deal with, but the tough italians from Queens. The communication would cost the team of four. A misdirected Mafia Kick to the head of Ron Harris would cause the brothers to exit the ring and leave the Mamalukes by themselves. It wasn't long before Luger put The Bull in the Torture Rack and Flair applied the Figure Four to Vito for the submission victory. Winners: Team PackageBilly Kidman vs. VampiroThis match was another classic, these two had a series of great matches back in February and this lived up to the hype. Kidman missed a shooting star press mid match that may have been the turning point for him. Kidman attempted a second one, but the music of the Hulkster hit the speakers, but he was no where to be seen. The distraction was enough for Vampiro to hit the Nail in the Coffin for victory. Winner: VampiroBackstage Symphony is in the office of Russo and Bischoff, trying to get The Maestro into the six way suicide match for the Cruiserweight Championship. She has no luck as Douglas and Bagwell enter the scene and push her to the side. Buff Bagwell: Tell Ken I said hi. Shane Douglas: Tonight is about the New Blood. Bagwell and I, we got this. We will take out that old keezer Flair and his 4% percent body fat buddy. Buff Bagwell: But first, we need to beat Stevie "Where'd my Flapjack go?" Ray and Enormous T. Vince Russo: Don't screw it up guys. Buff Bagwell & Shane Douglas vs. Harlem Heat 2000This match was sloppy as hell, Big T is overweight and past his prime. Thank god this got over quick as the fans in attendance may have booed them from the building. Douglas and Bagwell pick up the win after a Buff Blockbuster on Big T where T appeared to hurt himself. Winner: Douglas & BagwellBooker T vs. StingProbably the best match of the night so far, these two tore the house down. Both men getting cheered from the fans, even with Booker T being apart of the New Blood stable. Booker T missed a scissors kick at about twelve minutes that cost him, Sting grabbed his head and pulled him back into the Scorpion Deathdrop for the three count to advance in the US Title Tournament. Winner: StingRic Flair and Lex Luger are backstage getting ready for the finals. Flair is looking forward to finally shutting up Douglas, who has been a thorn in his side for years. WCW Tag Team Championship Team Package vs. Buff Bagwell & Shane DouglasEven though all the men in this match have been around for years, this match was a classic. Flair and Douglas fought around the ringside area, getting busted open in the process. Flair was bleeding everywhere and on everything. Luger went for the Torture Rack on Bagwell but was broken up by Douglas who had just thrown Flair into the metal barricade. The referee lost all control of this bought, but was told there needed to be a finish. In the end it was only Flair and Douglas left in the ring. Flair applied the Figure Four to Douglas, who screamed in pain, he was ready to call it quits when out of nowhere Bam Bam Bigelow showed up and hit a moonsault on Flair. Douglas went for the cover to claim the titles for his team. Bigelow just helped out his former stable mate! Winners and NEW Tag Team Champions: Shane Douglas and Buff BagwellMike Awesome vs. VampiroThe first match in the semi finals was a good one. It was was two underrated stars on the WCW roster were going at it for a chance in the finals. Vampiro tried to fight the big man standing but it was no use. Awesome threw him around the ring like the rag doll he kind of resembles. Awesome took the match a little too far and got himself in trouble as he took Vampiro outside and Awesome Bomb'd him through the announce table causing a DQ. Awesome was pissed and attacked the referee, sending him crashing with another Awesome Bomb. Vamprio was the winner, but he sure didn't look like one. Winner via DQ: VampiroScott Steiner vs. StingYou would think both of these guys would above the US Title by now, but they fought tough for this prize, they wanted it bad. Steiner locked in a Steiner Recliner, but Sting fought his way out by reaching the ropes. Scott's brother Rick came to the ring with Scott's trademark lead pipe, trying for a hand off. Scott should have had eyes in the back of his head as Sting splashed him in the corner and hit the Deathdrop for three. Scott was not happy with his brother. Winner: StingWCW Cruiserweight Championship The Artist vs. Chris Candido vs. Crowbar vs. Juventud Gurrera vs. Shannon Moore vs. Lash LerouxWhat a great showcase of the best cruiserweights WCW had to offer here. The point of this match is that the first person to pick up a victory would be declared the winner and new champion. Tons of action including a big 3 on 3 suplex that sent Candido, The Artist and Shannon Moore crashing to the mat. Late in the match, Paisley and Tammy Sytch started a cat fight at ringside. Both The Artist and Candido left the ring to pull the two ladies apart. This left an opening for Lash LeRoux to hit Whiplash on Shannon Moore for the Victory and claim the Cruiserweight Championship for the Rajun' Cajun. It will Mardi Gras all over the streets of Chicago tonight.Winner and NEW Cruiserweight Champion: Lash LeRouxIt is announced that the match between Jarrett and Page for the World Title will now be a Chicago Street Fight. WCW US Championship Sting vs. VampiroVampiro entered the ring with his ribs taped up from the Awesome Bomb he received through the announce table earlier in the night. Sting may have taken it easy on him, but Vampiro was fighting full force. Vampiro would dodge a Stinger Splash, and climb quickly to the top rope and hit a diving dropkick. This got him a two count, but may have took more out of him as his ribs hit the mat hard. In the end Sting went for the Scorpion Deathdrop, but when he lifted Vampiro up, he used his weight to bend Sting over backward and lift into into a scoop slam position for the Nail in the Coffin. Vampiro, crawled for the cover, holding his ribs with one arm and lifting Sting's leg with the other and getting the three count and the title. Winner and NEW US Champion: VampiroWCW Championship Chicago Street Fight Diamond Dallas Page w/ Kimberly vs. Jeff JarrettThe match everyone had been waiting for was finally here. DDP and Jarrett fought almost literally to the street of Chicago, hitting each other with trash cans, brooms and whatever they could find around the arena. Back in the ring about mid way through the match Bischoff and Russo showed up at ringside. DDP became aware of this and never took his eye off of them. This may have cost him and Jarrett almost nailed Page with a guitar shot. Page ducked last minute and turned Jarrett around into a Diamond Cutter. Page got the two, but when the referee went for three Vince Russo pulled him from the ring. Page was quick outside to deal with Russo, levelling him with a big shot. Back in the ring Kimberly made her way into the scene, grabbing the dropped guitar. She went to hit Jarrett but had it taken out of her hands by Bischoff. Jarrett grabbed Kimberly by her hair and went to give her the Stroke but was hit with a guitar shot from Bischoff! Bischoff is all smiles as DDP is back and the ring and covers Jarrett for the three count. Page is handed the title while Kimberly embraces her husband. Bischoff shakes his hand and raises it into the air. Winner and NEW WCW Champion: Diamond Dallas PageJarrett and Russo walk up the ramp, staring down Bischoff and Page in the ring. Vince Russo: What the hell was that Eric, what the hell was that! Mike Tenay: Was Bischoff with the Millionaire's Club all along? We will see you tomorrow night on Nitro! Bischoff and Mr. and Mrs. Page raises there hands and title into the air as the show comes to a close.

Pretty solid first show.
- Glad to see Mike Awesome dominant in the U.S. Title tournament, though I didn't quite buy him getting DQ'ed in his second match.
- Terry Funk won the Hardcore Title, as in real life, now let's see if he can actually do something with it.
- Glad to see Lash Leroux get the Cruiserweight Belt.
- Surprised to see Vampiro winning the U.S. Title and not Scott Steiner. But it's cool to see him get a victory over Sting, meaning this could be an actual feud and not just a one-sided beating. I guess Hulk Hogan and Billy Kidman are also going to feud.
- Nice main event with DDP winning the belt and Bischoff siding with him, which is what should have happened in real life. Bischoff with the Millionaire's Club just makes more sense and I can see him warring with Russo.
Overall a pretty nice beginning. I'm interested where this goes, and whether we're going to see all the hot-shotting and shooting and swerves we got in real life, or if we're actually going to get competent booking and builds. I'm hoping it's the latter.

Looking over Spring Stampede, I can see that the Hogan/Kidman feud is staying intact. Please don't keep the feud as one-sided as it was in real life. Kidman came out looking like a total bitch, when he could've been made a legitimate star. Vampiro! Great to see him win the US Title tournament. I understand he hated the feud with Sting, but I kind of liked it, and I'm curious to see where you take it. Especially with the US Title now involved. Bam Bam Bigelow's involvement in the Tag Team Title finals is interesting. Keeping Douglas and Bagwell as the tournament winners is fine. I can't recall much from their reign, other than feuding with Flair and Package in singles feuds. What really intrigues me is the outcome of the WCW Championship match. Bischoff in the Millionaire's Club? An opposing force to Russo and the New Blood? A nice start to the diary, As AKing put it, I hope to see you properly book this time period as opposed to the product we received in real life.

Welcome aboard again Cass!
Spring Stampede - Clean sweep for the New Blood? Don't see it happening. - Oh man, Cat should have gotten destroyed here by Awesome. - The Funker?! That's a good start to rebooting the Hardcore Division. So what if Funk is ancient, he can still go. - Steiner/Wall was probably a snoozefest. - Kinda upset to see Team Package go over. These guys are so old and already past their prime...would love to see some new up and comers get the win. - Ah the Kidman/Hogan feud. Do it right and it'll be interesting to see if Kidman could propel himself to the upper midcard. Vampiro getting a solid win also. - UGH, Harlem Heat 2000. That is all that needs to be said. Glad the New Blood got the win. - Sting/Booker was probably MOTY quality...both of those guys know how to work a match. Sting in the US Title tournament is kinda awkward though. - BAM BAM! What a swerve! New Brood picks up their first belts here tonight. - Mike Awesome getting too ahead of himself is good...Vampiro deserves the spot over him right now and Awesome still looks strong. - First line in the Sting/Steiner match sums up my thoughts, but I am glad you mentioned that. Sting/Vampiro will be a great finals. - LEROUX? I am surprised you gave him the strap, but its different. - The clean win for Vampiro is surprising but I ain't complaining. He is the perfect US Title holder at this point and definitely a better candidate than Sting. - BISCH! What a twist and I am happy to see that DDP will lead the company. Definitely the right choice.
Can't wait to see where you go man.

WCW Spring Stampede: Sunday 16th April 2000...Alright, fair opening segment that was kept brief, with Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo preparing us for the official rebranding of World Championship Wrestling. Let's see how you change things with this show. Mike Awesome with a win against the Cat was a nice opening contest, I'm hoping that Awesome can amount to awesome things in WCW. Fair opening contest. Terry Funk won the WCW World Hardcore Championship? Eh, may have been the best option, I was personally pulling for Norman Smiley or Fit Finley though. I'm hoping that Finley is given a slight push up the card. Wow, Scott Steiner beat the Wall. Didn't sound like a great match by any means. Team Package overcomign the odds was fine, a nice stack against them with the Harris Brothers and the Mamalukes in their way. Works alright for me. Next, I do hope that Billy Kidman can amount to good things in the mid-card here, I wouldn't want to see him overexposed in the main event scene like in real life. Vampiro with the win was fine - please avoid that feud with Sting! Haha, the Maestro gets no shot at the WCW World Cruiserweight Championship. Shane Douglas and Buff Bagwell is an interesting combination, and a good win against Harlem Heat 2000. Never was keen on Big T. Sting and Booker T? Wow, that's a big match. Nice attempt by Booker, but the right decision made with Sting advancing. Shame, I think Booker would've benefitted more from winning the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship. Oh right, so the prior two tag team matches were tournament semi-finals; I think that this was a part of a tournament should have been focused more in the layout. Douglas and Bagwell with a HUGE win against Lex Luger and Ric Flair, I like it. Looking forward to where you plan on taking the WCW World Tag Team Championships from here. Vampiro beating Awesome is a shame, but the disqualification win was a nice call. Up next, a decent match between Scott Steiner and Sting, although again, I wish that Steiner got the win. Hopefully Steiner can aim higher, at least. Lash LeRoux wins the WCW World Cruiserweight Championship!? Wow, out of all of the talents in this match, too. I guess I like it. Up next, surprising win for Vampiro in the finals of this WCW US Heavyweight Championship tournament, I suppose a feud will be spanning from this, seemingly. And finally, I think that the Chicago Street Fight was alright, but I wasn't sure if this had any build, which is my problem to this being for the vacant WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Diamond Dallas Page picking up the win after help from Eric Bischoff was a nice twist, and hopefully the Millionaire's Club vs the New Blood is a short faction war. Overall, a decent show with a cool, new direction made. The format's cool, but I think it could be cleaner/clearer. Not a bad start. Welcome back, Cass.

WCW Monday Nitro April 17th, 2001The show opener plays for the fans at home as we go into the arena. Pyro is shooting off as we get set for another edition of Nitro, and surely it will pick off from where it ended last night when Diamond Dallas Page claimed the WCW World Championship. Right on cue, Self High Five plays from the speakers and the new champion makes his way to the ring with Eric Bischoff and his wife Kimberly.
Diamond Dallas Page: You know Eric, all of the fans the last 24 hours have been wondering, if Bischoff with the Millionaire's Club? Why don't you tell em Bisch.
Eric Bischoff: You know Page, as they say, like a good neighbour, I was there. I was there when you needed me. Jeff Jarrett doesn't deserve to be anywhere near this title.
Diamond Dallas Page: Through all my years in WCW, I never needed a faction or group to get over here. I didn't need WCW, I didn't need the Wolfpac, I didn't need the nWo. I'm DDP, I only need the people who want to help me.
Familiar music plays, and DDP's friend Kanyon makes his way on stage with a mic in hand.
Kanyon: Page, what's your deal man. You don't care about your friends? I've been there for you the whole time. Through everything, and you've been there for me. You don't need Bischoff.
DDP: Mind your business Chris, this isn't about you. You are stuck where you're at fighting nobodies, while I'm winning titles. You will never be at my level, and I had to let you off.
Kanyon: This whole time you have talked about how good you are, and how you do this and how you do that, prove it Page. Give me a title shot tonight!
Eric Bischoff: Kanyon, who the hell do you think you are, this is the champs time. Since you need to know your place here, you got it. Tonight you will face DDP for the WCW Championship!
Mike Tenay: A title match here tonight? What a main event! WCW Cruiserweight Championship Lash LeRoux (c) vs. Idol w/ LaneThe new champ defended his title in the opening contest on Nitro. Idol came out with partner Lane, who stood at ringside. Lane tried to interrupt the match on behalf of Idol, but was sent to the back by Charles Robinson. LeRoux hit Whiplash 2000 for the victory. The Ragin' Cajun retains. Winner: Lash LeRoux (Pin) Backstage we see Team Package enter the arena, and they are looking to find Bam Bam Bigelow. They are stopped by Vince Russo and the Tag Team Champions.
Vince Russo: Hey Ric, where do you think you're going. You have the night off.
Ric Flair: Whatever Russo, shove it up your ass. Let's go Lex.
Vince Russo: Hold on Lex, you ain't goin' anywhere. You got a match tonight with Bam Bam.
Lex Luger: It's alright Ric, I got this. Booker T. Vs. The WallA good contest, to end the first half hour. The wall is pretty down to being a jobber after getting a monster push last month. He has gone down pretty far since main eventing the spring break episode with Hogan. Booker T. picks up the win at the 4 minute mark with an Axe Kick. Winner: Booker T (Pin) Backstage Vampiro is in a dark room with the US Championship over his shoulder.
Vampiro: Sting, is this what you want from me. This right here, this is my trophy to declare your defeat, to declare that I beat you Sting. Nobody will ever take this from me Sting, not you, not anybody. See you later Sting. Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Lex LugerLuger comes out to the ring and does his usual 5 minute entrance with the Lex Flexer. Posing the crowd who could care less and just want to see a match. Bam Bam comes out and goes straight on the attack. Hitting a ton of power moves. Lex fires back with some of his own, knocking the big man down with a shoulder tackle. Half way through the match Douglas and Bagwell make their way to the ring. This distracts Lex, who was about to go for the Torture Rack. Lex turns around into Greetings from Ashbury Park for the three count. Bagwell and Douglas get into the ring with a chair, placing it on the forearm of Luger. Winner: Bam Bam Bigelow (Pin)Tony Schiavone: They are gonna break Luger's arm!
Mark Madden: I guess you can call this payback for all the arms Lex broke.Bagwell is about to climb to the top rope, about to stomp down on the arm of Luger. Bam Bam stops him, and heads to the top rope himself, flying off with a moonsault to the arm of Luger! Tony Schiavone: Luger's arm has to be broken! Someone stop this!Luger screams in pain, quickly sliding the mangled chair from his forearm and grasping at the injury. Douglas, Bigelow and Bagwell are about to continue the attack when David Flair and Crowbar come out to make the save! They run off the tag champs and Bam Bam with dual crowbars. They check on Luger as the show goes to commercial. We come back from commercial and Lex is being loaded into an ambulance. Vince Russo comes appears in the scene and confronts David Flair and Crowbar about stopping the attacks. He tells them that they now have a match with the tag champs tonight! The Artist w/ Paisley vs. Chris Candido w/ Tammy SytchThis was the blow off for what went down in the six way suicide match the night before when the ladies of both men got into at ringside. The Artist when for his top rope DDT but was blocked then hit with a Superbomb for the three count in an easy win for "Hard Knox" Chris Candido at about four and a half minutes in. Winner: Chris Candido (Pin) [/b] We are in the office of Vince Russo, Mike Awesome charges in.
Mike Awesome: What the hell is wrong with these referees Russo. Why the hell was I disqualified last night!
Vince Russo: You want a shot, you got it. Except I've been forced to put one of those millionaire slobs in a contenders match with you. Tonight you go one on one with Sting!
Mike Awesome: I have no problem tearing him apart!
Vince Russo: That's the attitude I like.
Hardcore Championship Terry Funk(c) vs. Brian KnobbsThis match was your typical hardcore brawl. They fought throughout the arena. Leading back into the concessions stands where Funk bounced the head of Knobbs off the walls along the concourse area. Knobbs would fight back and throw Funk onto a concession table, setting him up for a piledriver. Norman Smiley came out of nowhere and broke a broom over his back, which was enough for Funk to reverse the roles and deliver a piledriver through the table to Knobbs for the win. Screamin' Norman takes off through the crowd of people screaming his head off while Funk heads back to the arena to collect his belt. Winner: Terry Funk (Pin) Non-Title Match Crowbar & David Flair vs. Shane Douglas & Buff Bagwell w/ Bam Bam BigelowDouglas and Bagwell rag dolled David Flair for the opening minutes of the match, getting frequent tags in. Crowbar finally got the hot tag and went nuts, clotheslining everything in sight. This way stopped soon with a boot from Douglas. Douglas hit the Franchiser on Crowbar and went for the cover. The fans went insane and turned their attention to the walk way where Ric Flair was running out with a chair! This distraction made Douglas give up the pin and pay attention to Flair. Flair stopped half way down, but this caused Douglas to get rolled up for the three count by Crowbar! Winner: Crowbar & David FlairDavid and Crowbar scramble to the ramp and the three walk up backwards, while Ric smiles at Douglas. #1 Contender for the US Championship Sting vs. Mike AwesomeVampiro appeared in the rafters, usually where Sting hung out. Eyeing this match with the US Title over his shoulder. Sting went for a splash in the corner at the five minute mark, as Awesome came out of the corner Sting hit a Bulldog for a two count. Awesome is pissed and leaves the ring, setting up a table on the outside. The referee yells at him that he will DQ at any moment. Awesome gets back into the ring and is stomped immediately. Sting bounces off the opposite side ropes and clotheslines Awesome over the top, sending him outside and smacking his face off the table. The referee gets Sting to back up as Awesome finally gets back in. Squaring off once more Awesome hits a knee to the gut, and lifts Sting into the air with a military press. He carries over to each side of the ring, taunting tossing him out onto the floor. Sting escapes and tries for the Deathdrop, but Awesome turns out and picks him up into the air for the Awesome Bomb, sending him over the top ropes crashing through the table outside on the floor. The referee calls for the DQ declaring Sting the winner. Winner: Sting (DQ)Awesome is pissed and grabs the referee by the shirt collar. Threatening to give him an Awesome Bomb. He has the referee into the air when Kevin Nash shows up with a crutch, breaking it over the back of Awesome. This allows Nash to give him a Jacknife and escape through the crowd. It is announced that next week on Nitro, Hulk Hogan will return to have a one on one debate with Billy Kidman in the middle of the ring. What will happen when the New Blood is face to face with the Millionaire's Club? WCW Championship DDP w/ Eric Bischoff & Kimberly vs. Chris "Champagne" KanyonThese two former best friends went at it for the gold. Kanyon has his chance to stop living in the shadow of his fellow Garden State resident. Kanyon kicked out of a Diamond Cutter at about 10 minutes, which got a huge ovation from the crowd in attendance. Kanyon reversed a second cutter into the flatliner, which also received a two count. The fans were on the edge of their seats when Kanyon went to the top rope, ready for a diving clothesline. Kimberly got onto the apron and hit the top rope, crotching Kanyon. This allowed DDP to grab the head of Kanyon and hit the Diamond Cutter from the top rope for the three count at about 12 minutes. Winner: Diamond Dallas Page (Pin)After the match Jeff Jarrett runs to the ring with Vince Russo and a guitar in hand. Jarrett swings and connects to the head of DDP. Guitar pieces fly all over the ring and DDP is out cold. Jarrett grabs the belt from the mat and raises it into the air over DDP to end the show. [/center]

Been waiting for this one honestly...let's see how you play it out Cass.
- Explosive start to the show; very WCW like with that opening promo and a title match on live TV. Anything for ratings! Good job and defense for LaRoux. Let's get him over big time with that belt. Luger/Bam Bam?! Should be a helluva match if you asked me. No surprise, win for Booker. Try to build him back up to contend for something. Vampiro ripping into Sting was good; gets him over as the heel who barely escaped with the belt. I love the beginning of the match description for Luger/Bam Bam...no one did care about Luger's entrance. Big win for Bam Bam...puts him over as a quick threat. Luger's arm being broken is interesting...I wonder how you'll play this out now. David Flair/Crowbar vs. the Tag Champs? I see the New Blood going down and lining up an eventual title match. Candido beats the Artist in a throwaway midcarder match..solid job to pack the show. Awkward promo with Russo/Awesome. Awesome just barges in and gets a contender shot? Kind of weird. That Hardcore title match was probably just terrible. HA! I knew it...good job. Now, you'll have your six man blow off match. Good job setting this up. Awesome, you numskull. Now Sting sets up another match with Vampiro (good) and this prolongs Awesome's beef with the officials. NASH! What a turn of events. Okay main event, obviously Page was retaining. What I am having a hard time deciphering is who exactly the heels and faces are. Don't know if its just me, but I am not 100% familiar with this point. Otherwise, you got yourself a solid start.

WCW Monday Nitro: Monday 17th April 2000...Alright, what have we got for Nitro? Oh so Diamond Dallas Page is playing the heel? I'm fairly confused to tell you the truth. Kanyon with some air-time? This could be good, but DDP defending the WCW World Heavyweight Championship tonight in the main event against Kanyon is a bit of a weak main event perhaps, Kanyon could've used some build for this. Whose side is Eric Bischoff on anyway? I guess I like the story with DDP turning his back on Kanyon for Bischoff, though. Lash LeRoux's defense of the WCW World Cruiserweight Championship was a nice start to in-ring action tonight, establishing him as a more credible champion against Idol here. I must admit, it's strange to see Ric Flair and Lex Luger as a team, but feuding with Shane Douglas and Bam Bam Bigelow makes it sound more appealing. So Vince Russo's playing heel? Booker T beating the Wall was fine, but it's a shame that it was so quick; I like the Wall's work, granted he was killed by Hulk Hogan, but I hope he is able to pick up some momentum soon, the dude has potential. Why did Vampiro cut a promo on Sting exactly? He beat him to win the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship, sure. But it's strange to me that he's still maintaining focus on beating Sting. Maybe I'm oblivious and the feud had started before Spring Stampede, anyway. Bam Bam Bigelow beating Lex Luger was fine, a decent match and I liked the spot afterwards where Luger's arm was broken by Bigelow, Douglas and Bagwell. Good use of David Flair and Crowbar, though. I always liked Crowbar. Nice booking with Chris Candido facing the Artist Formerly Known As Prince Iaukea, just because Paisley and Tammy Sytch got into a catfight last night. Candido with the win was the right decision. Mike Awesome, yes! Awesome facing Sting is pretty big, could be good. Terry Funk retaining the WCW World Hardcore Championship against Brian Knobbs was fine - poor Terry for being the champion of an abysmal division, though. Crowbar and Flair managed to get a win against the WCW World Tag Team Champions!? Wow, that's odd to me. Ah well. The help from Ric Flair helps explain it. Sting being destroyed was great, good call as it got Mike Awesome over as a dominant star, whilst Sting gained contention to the WCW US Heavyweight Championship. How did Sting get entered into a contender's match anyway? He lost last night. Kevin Nash attacking Awesome was alright, dependent on if he makes Awesome look good. Hulk Hogan facing Billy Kidman next week sounds good, I hope Kidman gets some talk-time on Thunder in that case. And lastly, predictable win for DDP against Kanyon, with an attack from Jeff Jarrett and Vince Russo that could trigger a rematch for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship come Slamboree. A fair episode of Nitro, but I could use some more information on who is a face and who is a heel, and who is feuding with who, et cetera. I look forward to seeing more of this.

Okay episode of nitro to get your project going in earnest.
- DDP's promo at the beginning was a little confusing, it seemed like you couldn't decided whether he's a face or a heel.
- Decent match to start off with Lash getting a clean win to help build the belt's credability. Hopefully things for the Cruiserweight Title go a lot smoother (ie no women holding it)
- Good, solid win for Booker T. Interested to see what kind of push you give him.
- So are Douglas, Bagwell and Bam Bam like a new version of the Triple Threat or something, because that faction might work.
- So Terry Funk retains the Hardcore Title. Maybe he can make the title mean something.
- David Flair and Crowbar beat the tag team champs? I can sense a six-man tag coming up on Thunder or the next Nitro.
- I guess it's okay that Mike Awesome got himself disqualified in his match with Sting, to keep him storng while keeping Sting in contention for his feud with Vampiro. Hopefully Awesome goes over Nash in their feud.
- Solid main event with DDP retaining. I guess his issues with Jarrett are continuing with a blowoff at the next pay-per-view.
Overall a nice Nitro, not the greatest but still a decent show.
