I'm happy. A lot better than a drought....which I predict will come soon... Feb to April

I am actually happy with what Mattel is doing at the moment, but as mentioned.......my wallet, ouch!
I prefer having too much choice in stead of getting only one series every two months or so.

Thats why I only buy Elite figures. My wallet took a bit of a hit when I bought series 18 and 19 together though.

Just seems like nobody is ever happy. Yeah, we're all broke, but damn -- people were just complaining when I came back on that there was nothing out.

It was nice, I got E18 & E19 only 10 days apart. Feb/March seems so far away.

I'm glad because it has been fairly easy to find most of my wants at retail, but...... my wallet is PO'd because it has been fairly easy to find most of my wants at retail.
It fills my heart with joy to see aisles full of figs.

considering the SEVERE drought of figures we had around here from March til September, i'm more then happy to see pegs full again, and with more than just Cena and Rey!

Not so much because come Jan/Feb it'll go back to the norm where the stores distribution centers start stockpileing the product again for next years holiday season.

yeah it is too much to be honest, with the cost of figures going up consistently its really tough for someone like me to keep collecting. im the kind of collector who wants everything and as much as possible....so when 8 sets are hitting stores within 2 months it's hard to manage the cost
but i agree that it is cool seeing a lot of new stuff, definitley is exciting.

But again Mattel hasn't changed anything they are still producing and shipping new Basic set every month and a new Elite every other month. it the store's distribution centers/warehouses that are doing it. They barely ship things to the stores most of the year stockpiling it then they just pump it all out for the holidays. Come Jan/Feb they'll start stockpiling again and people will be upset that there's nothing new hitting their areas blaming Mattel for poor distribution when it'll really the stores DC's that are doing it.

As a Legends-only collector, I have to say I've felt pretty starved for a while now. With the Legends line being cancelled as well as Defining Moments and the online Legends ending too, I barely get chance to buy any wrestling figures these days. Flashbacks are great but they're coming way too slowly for me, and the depth of characters leaves a lot to be desired since they only seem to do the A-listers and most well known stars. I'm more interested in getting new Legends than Mattel remakes of figures Jakks already made loads of.
