Just out of curiosity and for the sake of a conversation that I'm pretty sure can't lead into an argument, because it will all be based on fact, who has strictly wrestled for WWE their entire career? Never worked for WCW, ECW, TNA etc. Now maybe they started up in NWA, AWA or another territory, but those were bought by Vince and don't count. Obv the current roster of guys haven't been anywhere else due to wcw not existing, ie. Cena, Punk, Miz, Kofi, etc. But I don't think the list is very long. Rock HHH HBK Lesnar Undertaker Owen Hart Daniel Bryan? (I think he was in ROH) Jerry Lawler who else? Punk was in ROH and TNA. Edge was only in WWE during his entire career if I recall correctly.

HBK Worked all around before getting to WWE Taker worked for WCW before getting to WWE Jerry Lawler worked all around before WWE It doesn't matter if they worked "all around" before wwe. Like I said, those small territories were all bought by Mcmahon. HBK and Lawler never worked for wcw.

Also to add to the original list Triple H worked for WCW as Terra Ryzing and Jean-Paul Lévesque Taker worked for WCW as Mean Mark Callous Daniel Bryan worked for numerous independents as Bryan Danielson. Most notably Ring of Honor. Jerry Lawler is well known to have worked a lot of different places before WWE. It's common knowledge in wrestling. Shawn Michaels worked for AWA. Owen Hart worked for WCW very briefly. Brock Lesnar worked for NJPW. I don't recall The Rock working for any other promotion.

Punk and Owen were in wcw? I know Kane was for a second but Taker? mean mark calloway was certainly a part of wcw, as well as several notable southern promotions. Callous. Mean Mark CALLOUS. Not Callaway. He also wrestled as The master of pain & Texas Red. He was also handed down his mentor's ring name at one time. The Spoiler. Just about every major wrestler started somewhere else or built a reputation prior to signing with the company. Here's why. You don't go on broadway after one year of glee club. WWE has somehow forgotten that it is almost incapable of building wrestlers from the ground up. Yes they have had success with various names that they have Bentley's most of their careers, but the majority came in with the experience/talent needed to give WWE something good to work with. It's sad that Vince actually killed his cash cow when the utter ran dry so to speak by monopolizing the industry. Hogan Piper Andre Savage & Steamboat made him a millionaire & they were ALL territory wrestlers. Case in point, WWE NEEDS TNA & other promotions to give it a talent pool to draw from.

You reiterated my point. Which is why I stated twice that I did not wanna hear an indy organization or small territory where they started. Unless they started in wcw or ecw. Vince bought up all those territories which actually angered his father. All I wanted to know was who never had a stint with wcw or ecw. and obv the list is very small. You don't go to the big show without proving yourself in the minors, college, etc.

worked the midwest indies for about a year before signing with WWE. I watched him live in late 2004 at a show a friend of mine helped promote.
