I went into a Rite-Aid a few years ago (about 2009 or so), and they still had a few SummerSlam 1999 Hardcore Hollys on the shelves. I bought one to get Bob a late paycheck.

Best of 2008 Ric Flair holy crap were there a ton of those at every TRU i went to CS 2 Pack Bobby Heenan/Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz great idea for about 5 people who were interested in obscure classics like Abe. Terrible idea overall putting Heenan with him CS 14 Honky Tonk Man no one wanted him because he wasn't in his most recognized blue jumpsuit....Jakks saved that figure for a 3 pack that was never released at mass retail

Abe Scwartz was around after Bobby Heenan had gone. He didn't appear until Summer 1994 though Steve Lombardi's previous baseball character MVP was around very briefly during Heenan's last few months. WWF Magazine had a newcomers type write up about him though I think he was gone from TV by then. Heenan had no connection to MVP except maybe commentating the IC title battle royal he was in, in 1993. I don't recall any televised singles matches on Raw or Superstars or All American. Maybe Mania which I didn't get. It was probably made with Heenan because of his previous connection with Lombardi. I would have preferred Brooklyn Brawler become a Heenan Family member rather than go back to plain losing jobber. Let him get some wins over previous PPV wrestlers like Jim Brunzell or Jim Powers who were low on the card. Heenan was a basic repaint, if not re-release of a previous figure and Schwartz wasn't that detailed. If anything Scwartz should have been made in a singles and Brawler used in a 2 pack with the Brain. Even though they would be repaints or re-releases I think a Heenan/Andre 2 pack would have done well considering Andre was probably his most famous wrestler. Also a repaint of Mr. Perfect would have been Ok. Maybe lime green which he wore for a while in 1989. A Narcissist Lex Luger or repaint Ric Flair would have been fine too. But putting an obscure gimmick which lasted a few months in 1994 with a repaint Heenan wasn't a good idea. But then again this is the company that would put knee and elbow pads on guys who didn't wear them, not put knee or elbow pads on guys that would wear them, not paint over Kamala's Samoan pant legs or Edge's BCA Triple H belt and of course, Mark Henry in underwear only.
