I'm going to the Supershow tomorrow in Pittsburgh, and have a question. WWE advertised a Super Smackdown live tomorrow, which will be the first ever commericial free Smackdown. I have also heard they will tape Raw for the 24th as well. That would be around 5 hours of footage give or take (2 hours for commericial free Smackdown, plus 3 more for Raw). How are they going to pull this off?

They just do it back to back. I've been to double tapings back when it was 2 hours and thats how they did it at least; tons of people will walk out before the end tho.
Raw won't be a full 3 hours; there will be a ton of video packages and nonsense on the broadcast that you wont have to see. But all the Superstars, Main Event, and SMS tapings will probably put you around 5 or 6 hours anyway.

I went to SmackDown few years ago in Manchester where they taped TWO SmackDown in one night, it was way too longer, but still awesome. Same as time it was little bit odd to watch wrestlers have to wrestle twice hah.
That was same one first ever Jericho Vs Undertaker in Single match.

So will next weeks Smackdown be a Best Of 2012 show or something?

So will next weeks Smackdown be a Best Of 2012 show or something? Nope. Next Friday's SmackDown will be taped tonight in Rochester, New York as well as matches for next Wednesday's episode of WWE Main Event. But considering that no matches were taped for WWE Superstars, I would expect that this week's episode will be a "Best of 2012" episode.
