The 'doesn't care' argument doesn't really work for me. If he were to show up under the WWE umbrella there's no doubt in my mind that entire situation would be a 'bygones be bygones' thing from most people and they'd eat up anything thrown at them. Guess it does boil down to rabid company loyalty. It would be bygones be bygones from the fans....but I think a big reason Jeff Hardy isn't coming back to the WWE is because he has 2 strikes. Why come back to WWE to be just another one of the many Superstars? He can be the World Champion in TNA and treated as special. Even though TNA and their title is not as main stream as WWE, but Jeff Hardy gets the ego stroke of at least the people within his own company treating him as special. Look at Randy Orton. Ever since he got 2 strikes and came back, WWE's done NOTHING with him. Between injuries and not being pushed, I can't remember his last big match or even his last PPV match. Randy Orton is floundering right now, all because of his "2 strikes" because WWE doesn't trust him. If WWE doesn't trust Randy Orton, how could they trust Jeff Hardy? I'm sure WWE would take him back and be more than happy to accept all of the money he'd bring in from his merchandise and his name bringing in ratings, PPV buys and ticket sales.....but they are NOT going to trust him with the Championship again after what happened to Jeff Hardy in 2011 in TNA.

I'd love Jeff to return. He could work with mid card guys in the US/IC title scene. He doesn't have to win the title, just boost them.

Jeff Hardy's music is beyond awful. If a person needs to use auto-tuner than you shouldn't be singing in the first place.

Am I the only one that thinks most people are grossly overestimating Hardy's marketability and drawing power? I understand that he was popular, but some people act as though he draws as much as Hogan, Rock, Austin and Cena.

It's a valid point and maybe something they had considered but Orton's drawing power is nowhere near Jeff Hardy's. They wish it was, but it isn't. Am I the only one that thinks most people are grossly overestimating Hardy's marketability and drawing power? I understand that he was popular, but some people act as though he draws as much as Hogan, Rock, Austin and Cena. I think honestly it's being underestimated in this thread. Without going into insane amounts of detail just take it from me being involved in a small fraction of the business from something as simple as a sales standpoint that Jeff Hardy is, to this generation of fans, one of those guys for sure. Whether or not we all like him is one thing, but his effect on the current crop of fan is astronomical and in my eyes can't be denied and bottom line, he has that 'connection' with the fan base that can't be bought or pushed. Whatever it is that makes people like WWE more than TNA and unable to enjoy it, be it loyalty or the fact that it's just plain crappy, Jeff Hardy returning to the WWE is absolutely not something that would be sidestepped if it arose and I'd go all in on that.

I can guarantee you Jeff Hardy would get a bigger pop than Ric Flair if Jeff did ever choose to return.

He seems comfortable in TNA, and is their champion, doubt he'd just walk out on them after they gave him such a huge second chance with the company. Plus the schedule has to be very cushy considering he now has a kid, at this stage in his life, he's very wealthy too, he really doesn't need WWE. Really don't get where all the hate is coming from, no doubt selfishness is the root of it though, get over yourselves.Really? It's so simple. He definitely doesn't care about the fans or his job enough as you can see, so why should we care about him? As one of the YouTube comments on that video read: With the difference that I can't stand him. The "he doesn't care about the fans or his job" statement is so ignorant that I'm surprised you even....no wait, I forgot where I am, nothing surprises me on here. That incident was 2 damn years ago, he's turned his life around drastically since then, he's been given a second chance & he's ran like hell with it.

If he loves getting drugged more power to him, but couldn't he wait at least until the show was over? And no, he wasn't given a "second chance". He has been given way more than 2 chances and he has blown them all time and time again. How many times did he no showed for TNA on his first run? Let's also not forget the already TWO chances WWE has given to him.

He'll be back at some point. After a while wrestling to small crowds and nothing left to do in tna they all eventually go back.

Don't get all the backlash for him not wanting to become a peg in the WWE board. His most recent WWE theme was awful and if he wants to work somewhere that lets him have more control over his character and what he wants to put out, passionately, that's what he should do. Props to the guy, despite all his problems or whatever, for deciding on his own and not because legions of whiners want him to have a Mattel figure instead of a Jakks figure. I love when Tom shares his opinion passionately, calling a spade a spade. I'll never understand why everyone kisses this overrated spot monkeys ass. He's a F'up who's gotten chance after chance after chance, only to piss them away. I would lose most if not all respect for WWE(as i already have for TNA)if they ever re sign him. I am guessing you loss all respect for WWE with all over Orton's violations of the drug policy and his ups, right? He is sooo much better off with TNA, if he goes back to WWE he would more than likely burn out and relapse again. As for his artwork and music, hey if it makes him happy then he should be allowed to do it, who are we to say he shouldn't be allowed to do it just because some of us don't like it? I don't think anyone's saying he shouldn't do it. Just that it is terrible. If you put something of yours out there for all to see, you should be prepared for people to criticize it. His "paintings" are just simplistic pictures of his ing face. You have seen a small sample of his work. Of course you have the right to criticize or dislike his work. But to say they are "simplistic pictures of his face" is false. Also, I'm a contemporary artist myself and I'm surrounded by contemporary artwork all day every day constantly reviewing it, and I'm afraid I'm completely with noir on this one, his artwork is totally one dimensional and, despite it being a good way for him to get his creativity out onto something tangible, it really offers nothing to anybody else. His work is egocentric and not in a constructive way. Like, if his art was saying something about himself or, perhaps allowing him to work out some of his deep rooted personal issues then I could absolutely understand why he would be making so many paintings of his own image, but I'm afraid it's all just masturbatory nonsense. The reason he's using TNA as an outlet for his art is because he can only sell his works to wrestling fans who like him because he's a wrestler, his actual artwork hasn't been and won't be picked up by any exhibitions or genuine art lovers because, when it comes down to it, it's pretty poor. I imagine seeing this in a high school art class in an exercise on which colours compliment each other and how to get the right shading on difficult shapes, they look like a training exercise at the absolute most, and certainly shouldn't be taken seriously as contemporary art. I didnt realize Jeff was trying to sell his art for a living. I thought he painted for his own enjoyment and the enjoyment of those who DO like it. You may be an expert in art, but you come across extremely snobbish in this post. Art is about expression and creativity. Jeff succeeds in both. Again, you may not like it.....but your critique it like its Jeff vs. Picassso. When in reality its Jeff vs. no one. Lol at his "art". If he wanted to get his terrible art and music out there wouldn't it be better to go back to wwe which has way bigger exposure? Yes, cuz WWE just loves to allow their stars to branch out in other forms of entertainment. Just ask Jeff Hardy, Mickie James, Maryse, Kelly Kelly and several others. Everyone here is just butt hurt they won't be getting a Jeff Hardy Mattel figure. Honestly, he's helping the wrestling industry by staying with TNA. TNA is helping him, I couldn't be happier for the guy. However, I do hope he drops the title. Right now its the "cool thing" to hate Jeff. If he returned to WWE and was feuding with Punk again as hot as it was when he left, people would be all over his sack. I'm blown away that people think WWE has nothing to gain from resigning Jeff Hardy. If you think a Hardy/Punk re-ignited feud wouldn't explode bigger than almost everything that's been going on over the past few years, you're kidding yourselves. I can't think of much anything else that could be slapped onto a plastic lunch box more successfully or quicker than that. That having been said, it continues to be a real shame to me that people aren't enjoying him in TNA. He's done some pretty decent stuff that I never would've expected in the way he was being force-fed to us in WWE Cena-style. For all of their immensely stupid faults, somehow Jeff Hardy has been something they've been doing more or less right and enjoyably. QFT The 'doesn't care' argument doesn't really work for me. If he were to show up under the WWE umbrella there's no doubt in my mind that entire situation would be a 'bygones be bygones' thing from most people and they'd eat up anything thrown at them. Guess it does boil down to rabid company loyalty. Rabid company loyalty is a nicer way to say....

Orton has yet to ruin a pay per view title main event match. TNA ruined the match and endangered both Jeff and Sting's lives by putting him in the ring in his condition. There is no defense for Jeff's condition. But there is NO defense for what TNA did by putting him out there. Drugs are RAMPANT in professional wrestling. Anyone believing otherwise is fooling themselves. Orton is saved by WWE brass NOT being foolish enough to put a talent in the ring in the condition that Jeff Hardy is in. They simply write you off tv, fine you, suspend you, send you home, etc. TNA, for whatever reason, decided to do one of the most eggregious acts....intentionally endangering the lives or careers of your performers.

I think it's strange that part of this argument now includes the generalization that if you dislike Jeff Hardy and/or TNA's decision to continue to utilize him, it automatically means you're a WWE loyalist who would immediately forgive him if they were to rehire him.
Hardy is the most polarizing individual on these forums, beyond a shadow of a doubt. Guys like Cena don't even come close.
It's not the "cool" thing to hate Jeff Hardy. Nearly everyone in this thread that has expressed their dislike for him and his history have provided valid, legitimate and perfectly justifiable reasons for not liking him, and not wanting to see him back in WWE. Given Hardy's tumultuous history, any fan of his should be able to respect and understand that.
If you choose to support Hardy, by all means, go ahead, but to think that people don't have concrete and valid arguments as to why they don't (and will continue not to) is hypocritical.
