I'm about twenty-five minutes away from MetLife Stadium and the temperatures around here have been BRUTAL all week. Wind chills dipping below zero every single night.
I know WrestleMania is over two months away, but the weather could be a big concern. I've lived in NJ my entire life and the weather in April is always unpredictable. A few years ago, it was cool and rainy for almost the whole month. About ten years ago, there was a legit snowstorm in April that cancelled school for two days. It can also be warm and sunny it just all depends. I don't think the temperatures are going to be this bad by then, but there's a good chance it could be pretty chilly especially over by the Meadowlands where the winds really pick up. If it rains or snows it would be very surreal. I mean imagine THAT Undertaker entrance.
Do you think the WWE has any back-up plans if the weather is less than ideal? Most of the roster wears nothing, but trunks so unless Vince doesn't mind all of his wrestlers having pneumonia it might be a good idea to think of alternative options.
Heated ring mats? Maybe instead of a briefcase they could suspend a pull-over fleece above the ring if there's a MITB match.

I'm guessing there will be space heaters around ringside and the entrance way if the weather is chilly, which it probably still will be at that point. I'm sure they thought about this when they decided to do it. I'm actually more concerned about the Super Bowl next year more so than Mania this year.

I've wanted it to rain during Taker's entrance for years. God that would be amazing.

I am sure they figured all this out before booking the stadium to host it. they will prob have space heaters or whatever else if it is that cold. Lets also remember they are non stop moving for 10-15 mins excercising so they sweat which makes them hot too. If it rains they always have that canopy on over the ring. I don't think there will be any kind of big deal unless it snows.

There's actually a pretty cool weather-related story about WrestleMania III. It was brought to Vince's attention that due to the sunlight that came through the roof, the big screens were completely obscured by the glare. The Pontiac Silverdome is massive and without those screens thousands of fans in the upper-decks would not be able to see anything. Vince called a meeting to think of a solution. One plan was to cover the roof with a giant tarp. Someone even suggested painting it black. Finally, somebody mentioned that this wouldn't even be an issue as long as it was a cloudy, rainy day. After those words, Vince slammed his hands on the table and said, "That's it! It'll rain." He then left the room. March 29, 1987 ended up being an overcast, rainy day in Detroit.

Hopefully the weather will be decent in April, but Undertaker's entrance in the rain sounds awesome

I would imagine they'll have some sort of heating mechanism in place. Perhaps they'll install them themselves, or use ones that I presume Met Life Stadium already has to heat the field. I don't know the logistics of the heat reaching the ground level when the field is covered, though, so who knows. Wrestlemania is planned down to every last detail. They'll have it completely covered, one way or another.

A while back Triple H said in an interview that they are prepared for just about any scenario.

I think it would be cool if everyone just wrestled in sweatpants and starter jackets.

It was actually raining during Taker's entrance at WM24, albeit light rain.
I was in attendance and for me it made that entrance extra memorable.

This was the first issue of concern when they announced the venue. Living in the midwest/east my whole life, April can be 80 and sunny or 30 and rainy.
That WM 3 story about the roof is pretty cool.
