Source: F4WOnline - Kurt Angle revealed in an interview with F4WOnline.com Thursday that he plans to hang up the boots for good in three years. "I've got two more years left at Impact Wrestling and then I'm going to have a retirement year and that's going to be it. I think I'll be done and once I retire, you're not going to see me back in a ring again, that's for sure," said the 44-year-old grappler. "I'm not going to be a guy that retires and keeps coming back. When I'm gone, I'm gone. Same thing as amateur wrestling; when I won the world championships in Olympics, I left and I never went back. Same for pro." ---------------------- *I didn't see this posted [it seems not many people make threads in this section ] so I wanted to post this. What do you all think about what Kurt said? Do you want him to retire in TNA or WWE? If he does stick with TNA for the two years he says what do you see him doing?

TBH I'd like to see him spend some time in the indies in companies like DGUSA-Evolve, PWG, ROH, hell even Chikara. Although I doubt it happens, it'd be pretty cool.

I think Kurt is the the greatest wrestler in the world to date. And if he wants to retire in 3 years, then let him retire and let him live life in peace. He's really never had a bad match and he always puts on a good show for the fans. I want him to retire in TNA and then be on both Hall of Fame's for both WWE and TNA, because he's accomplished so much in both companies. He's got nothing left to prove and he's done it all already, he's a legend.

Another thing if you notice he's pretty much the only guy from the Attitude Era who is still going and preforming every week and still pulls off amazing matches. You have to give props to him, and he's not like others who come back for a while and leave.

I would want him to retire in wwe. Angle is one of my all time favs, and I would love to see him wrestle guys like Punk and Bryan.

I want him to finish in TNA. In 2006 WWE didn't want to help Angle they just cut him loose because he didn't want and couldn't go full time any more. WWE just uses people up and then tosses them out.

Being that he said he has two more years in TNA and then a retirement year, I see him going to WWE for that last year honestly. If he was going to retire in TNA, he wouldn't have blatantly said 2 more years at Impact Wrestling.
I remember Kurt saying he would like to go back to WWE even if just for one more run. Since WWE has given Brock the part-time gig, I can see Angle getting it too.

I hope for that one year in WWE. Although I hoped he would've done a few years in WWE competing in 2 or 3 matches a year.

I would like to see him have his last year with WWE and as his final match put over Daniel Bryan, kind of like a passing of the torch to the next great in ring technician.

Lesnar is just more popular than Angle has ever been. On topic, I'd love to see him back in the WWE for that year. Not sure if it would really be his last. His age makes me want to believe him, but at the same time, wasn't he looking to participating in the past Olympics again?

If he was just going to retire outright with TNA he would have said I have 3 years till I retire. I would love to see him get one final run in WWE. And I could easily see WWE giving Kurt to a "Lesnar deal" just to get him back.

mad respect for Angle. Regardless of what he has going down behind the scenes, he's always putting on 5* matches and has remained pretty constant throughout his career. Definitely one of the greatest out right 'wrestlers' of the era and no doubt he will go down as one of the greatest of all time.
With that in mind, I want to see him in WWE as soon as possible. I believe he should go there, make a few dream matches a reality, have that final 'Wrestlemania moment' and then go down in the Hall of Fame. No disrespect to TNA, but a) he's done all there is to do there and then some and b) A career of his magnitude and success deserves to be celebrated in the big league. His final moment in a wrestling ring should be at the grandest stage of them all.

Angle has just been working for the rival company. But, nobody can deny that Kurt Angle resigning with WWE wouldn't be the major news story of that year whenever it happens. It's possible that WWE might give him the part-time gig.

unlike most, i'd rather he stayed in tna than wwe. it'd be cool for one raw for him to return but that's it.
