@tnadixie
I will be making a major announcement on IMPACT tomorrow (8/7c) This will change everything for our wrestlers, company & YOU our audience!
I read somehow it is that TNA is going on the road, don't know how much truth there is to that though. What do you guys think the announcement is, and are you excited for it?

If it's them going on the road, I'd be all for it. Hopefully they could advertise it well and eventually they could get decent sized venues that hold at least 6000.

I bet it has to do with One Night Only

Spoiler Alert Don't scroll down if you don't want to see it
TNA President Dixie Carter's announcement will be that most Impact Wrestling will be on the road going forward. The plan we have heard is to broadcast one live episode and tape another episode the same night. The first taping will be Thursday 3/14 in Hoffman Estates, IL at the Sears Centre Arena, a venue they have run before. There's been talk of doing a PPV there for some time.

Honestly, I think I'd rather see them be live in the Impact Zone every week as opposed to being live every other week on the road.

hell yes. I don't care if its live or not, the arena shows give off such a better, more professional vibe. it changes EVERYTHING.

Sounds awesome if thats what it is. Also if they amplify there booking and do surprises and up the quality, then it could be an even bigger improvement.

How many do they tape on the road in each location?

Well if I don't have to see that fat guy with long hair in the crowd wearing his Jeff Hardy shirt any more, that's fine by me!
I'm all for this change.

Raw use to do this back in the 90's before going live every week. Going on the road and having half the shows live is not taking a step back. If you consider taking their product across the country to display it in front of "real" wrestling fans a step back your on drugs.

I don't get why people say the iMPACT Wrestling crowd aren't fans when they clearly have signs, shirts, and chant for the wrestlers....
