The Batman & Robin thread inspired this poll. Which is your favorite and why? I threw in "Other" in case we have some Mask of the Phantasm or Batman (66) fans. I'm a massive fan of MotP but this will likely be more of a Nolan vs Burton thing if I were to guess. Anyway, take your pick, which is your favorite and why?

Got to go with Other. Mask of the Phantasm was essentially my first introduction to Batman and it's still one of my favourite things to watch when I have a crappy day. Don't get me wrong, I love all of them with the exception of Batman & Robin, especially Nolan's trilogy but nothing has that Batman feel for me more than TAS.

It's difficult for me to choose between Batman '89 and Batman Begins. Batman '89 is fun and nostalgic, and Jack Nicholson's Joker is fantastic. While I don't think his Joker was as good as Ledger's, it is after all Jack ing Nicholson playing the Joker. Batman Begins is simply a great movie. There's so much true emotion, and there's a grittiness to the film that I quite enjoy. In the end I have to give it to Batman Begins.

The Dark Knight probably takes the cake for me, but I'm an unapologetic fanboy when it comes to Nolan's entire trilogy.

The fact that The Dark Knight is going to win this thread reaffirms my lost faith in humanity.
I voted Batman '89.

The fact that The Dark Knight is going to win this thread reaffirms my lost faith in humanity. I voted Batman '89. Everyone has their own opinion, but please elaborate. Easily The Dark Knight for me. I could go on about how great Ledger was as the Joker, but the main reason this is not only my favorite Batman movie but one of my all time favorites is because Harvey Dent. Dent/Two-Face is my favorite character in all of comics. His story is such a tragic one and I'm glad they kind of pulled his Long Halloween arc. After that abortion in Forever, which I don't blame Jones as thats how they told him to approach it, I was so happy to see a good vision of the character. Some could argue that we barely got Two-Face and he was killed off too quick. But seriously, in the Nolan universe it worked out perfectly.

The Dark Knight.
Not sure how I rank BB/TDKR, but if I had a gun to my head I'd go:
Batman Begins > The Dark Knight Rises.
