Honestly, as much fun as the '90s ones were, they just plain weren't all that good of films. Dark Knight is far and away the best in terms of cinematic value, and there's really no question. That being said, I think in terms of personal enjoyment, I liked Dark Knight Rises the best. But I'm a mark for Bane.

I pretty much enjoyed every take except for Batman and Robin. I'll give the nod to The Dark Knight. It was perfect.

I loved Christopher Nolan's Batman movies well the Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises I found Batman Begins really boring if I am honest. But I have said it a million times, but when these movies became huge it spawned all these pretentious know it all Batman fans most of whom had never picked up a Batman comic in there lives.
Still though I would say that The Dark Knight Rises is my favorite live action movie, but Under The Red Hood is my favorite overall.

Batman Forever just hedges out the Dark Knight for me...solely based off nostalgia and ties connected to memories.
List goes like this:
Forever TDK Begins Phantasm Rises Batman & Robin Returns '66 Batman '89
Honorable mention goes to the Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker film, as well as Under the Red Hood.

Recent cartoon movie based on the Frank Miller graphic I believe. Ah, I guess I didn't pick up on that since "Batman" didn't precede the rest of the title. For some reason I automatically thought Nolan trilogy. I do really want to see both parts of Batman: The Dark Knight Returns

My top 5 would be:
1. The Dark Knight 2. Mask of the Phantasm 3. Batman Returns 4. The Dark Knight Rises 5. Batman 89
I don't really care for Begins at this point. I enjoyed it upon release and saw it 3 times at the theater but I genuinely can't sit through it anymore, especially the first 30-45 minutes or so. I don't know if it's a case of the other two just being so much more high octane or if the slow build origin just doesn't do it for me or what, but it just isn't a movie I pull off the shelf and watch anymore. Cillian Murphy is really my favorite part of that entire film, and the only performance I really care about from that one still.

It was tough to pick, but I went with Batman Begins.
Great origin story, and I love Liam as Ra's Al Ghul.
and I love the Scarecrow as well. It was just an entertaining, well told story. and even though I love the Dark Knight, I think I like Begins a little better.
Just a great movie.

Batman Returns, with '89 in second and The Dark Knight Returns (both parts) in third.
