Paint marker, several different companies make them, including sharpie company. It's what I use and it looks fantastic!!!!!!!!

Use a paint pen, not a Sharpie.
It's opaque, much more noticeable, and looks great. I can imagine a Bret Hart figure signed with a hot pink paint pen would look awesome.

if you want a nice flowing paint marker that is opaque and looks consistant all the way through the signature, i recommend a DECO paint marker...it's oil based (unlike sharpie) and the paint flows a lot nicer. You can pick one up at your local art store..normally they keep them behind the counter or in the back because this is also the type of paint marker graffiti artists use. A single marker will run you about 5$ but its most def worth it!! DECO also carries a huge line of colors in different shades, from hot pink, to bubblegum pink..

Paint pens are the best. Got many signed using them and the colour really pops.
Red, orange, blue, pink, silver, gold, etc.

I use Paint Sharpies but I'm intrigued by these other paint pens now so may try them out too.
