I have been working on a Brock fix-up for a few days now....I am NOT customizer (or much of a photographer for that matter), so please don't even think I am trying to compete with Dean, or anyone else on this board. I do them for myself, a hobby of sorts and I want to thank Bandy for taking the time to give me some pointers as I kinda looked at his Brock to work on mine.....so, here it is:Obviously my next PM will be to Dean to get the decals for the back of the trunks and as you can see, I need a pair of black Mattel Batista boots too. After those, I will be finished. I got lucky trying to split this torso-I usually suck at it, however this one is the best I ever did. I am also keeping the Smash trunks/legs. I know it isn't perfect, but like I said.....I am not Dean.
Today I was out getting a couple of last minute Val Day gifts, so I hit a WalMart and found a fresh set of Elite 19's (again) being put on the shelves (still no Liz at WM) so I picked up another HBK to make a a quick fix with it. I also saw the new molded T-basics, so I grabbed the Zig and Punk....I will trade the Punk if I can get a fig I need for it. Please check out my Haves/Want list link below as I am needing those Batista boots and a some Rock sweat pants from either E14 or Rock EG.
-Happy Val Day-if you are not with the one you love.....love the one you're with.
-Peace out, -Wagdaddy

Wag - I think that looks great! The Brock torso is definitely the easiest to crack, I think it's because Mattel is using weaker glue and the parts are so large, it's just easier to pull apart. Only a few minor suggestions: acetone off the meat-hook hands on the back, I don't think he had those back then. I'd recommend Big Show hands, but that's a personal preference, for me Brock had abnormally huge hands. And probably even out the black on the trunks, lots of whitish residue left. But he looks bang on, I dare MDT to do a better job

Yes....you are correct, I never really noticed the meat-hook hand tats. I know the back of the trunks is uneven, I was sloppy with the acetone and screwed that up. I do need to get it a solid black before applying the decals.
Again, thanks for the help!Wag - I think that looks great! Looks great Wag! If you're going to replace the boots with Batistas you'll need to switch the calves also. The smash calves will overhang the boots. I suggest Mr. Perfects if you can snag some.
As far as the back trunk logo I have some on eBay or you can get them straight from me on here. Either way works.
I really enjoy seeing other people customizing. Keep it up guys!

Brock came apart nicely too.
