Interesting. I'm not against a Punk-Lesnar feud but I'd rather see Punk-Taker at the moment.

Thanks for posting this. I'd be surprised if it didn't lead to something. At the very least, this is probably how they'll (sadly) split up Punk and Heyman. I wouldn't mind see Punk/Lesnar at WrestleMania. Either option for Punk would work. I really do hope that 'Taker has a match this year, though.

Punk/Lesnar is a potentially massive feud that should have much longer than a month's build.
So yes, they'll probably rush it.

If anything it'll probably just lead to a Punk and Heyman split. Heyman goes on to manage Lesnar exclusively while Punk flies solo. It wouldn't make sense to have Heyman continue to be involved in two different story lines for each guy going into Mania.

But I get what you are saying, but the days of long, long build ups are practically over, (except the 2 with the Rock and Lesnar/HHH in the last 2 years and that is because they show up once every few months) Look at how many matches were built with less time. Rock v. Hogan - 4 week build Rock v. Lesnar - 4 week build Undertaker v. Shawn Michaels (1st match ever) - 5 week build Cena v. Lesnar - 4 week build There are many more examples. With Lesnar's limited schedule and Wrestelmania right around the corner, while not an ideal build, it makes sense to start right away. I don't think it would make much of a difference.

I see the Punk/Lesnar feud lasting longer than one PPV as well.

If Punk/Lesnar DOES happen, would Punk turn face? Because he could just as easily be a heel on his own.

I want Lesnar/Punk more than any other match this Wrestlemania could give us. I'm all for it. Sadly, won't happen.

I think think this is the back-up plan if the Undertaker decides not to return this year.

Lesnar would be the face. Really? How would that work? Because Lesnar and Heyman could turn on Punk, and boom. Instant face turn. Well if Punk actually hit Heyman, Heyman could go on and rant about how all he ever did was care about him and try to do what is best for him. Punk could come out and blame Heyman for him losing and attempt to beat Heyman down while Lesnar comes down for the save.

I'd much rather see this than Taker/Punk. This would actually make sense as opposed to Taker magically showing up and choosing Punk to wrestle.

there are 7 weeks to WM. They can build it just fine.
Lesnar/Punk HHH/Undertaker vs The Shield.

If they do Punk/Lesnar, how about HHH gets back together Evolution (Orton and Batista) managed by Flair to take on The Shield? That would be amazing!

I called this happening months ago with Punk and Heyman being associated so I hope something materialises and this happens because that WOULD be an epic match!

It makes no sense as to why Heyman would be upset with Punk. Punk didn't intentionally hit Heyman. Rock ducked which caused Punk to hit Heyman.

It would be interesting though if Heyman and Punk both come out tonight to address it and both end up agreeing that it was an accident... But Brock doesn't see it that way.

I would much rather see Lesnar/Punk over Lesnar/Triple H & Punk/Taker. If Taker is out this year, I would like to see the Shield/DX (NAO & Triple H)
