Just counted my figures. 286 and only a dozen have weak ankles. Statistically speaking, that's pretty much impossible to be a line wide issue. An isolated issue or even half a run of figures doesn't constitute being line-wide. Just like the sole popping off might be an isolated one, but with me having 17 of the 18 figures from the last three elite sets and 16 of them are entirely too tight leads me to think otherwise. Not trying to push it too hard, but if it was every figure every time, there would be threads about loose ankles every single day with 5-6 pages of discussion. That's how this forum works, we all know it. A major company like mattel doesnt alter their product unless enough REAL feedback gets to them. its not every figure every time. but its enough that it is/was unacceptable to them and they made a change. they didnt make a change because about 100 collectors on a forum complained, they clearly got feedback that was more widespread. but we will agree to disagree That's fair, I don't mind them fixing what they perceived as a problem, but the means they have done it seem like a misstep. If they had added the clicking joints like Toy Biz added to the Marvel Legends years ago when similar complaints hit, I think the feet would stand a much lesser chance of breaking or warping. Of course, one never knows for sure, because if memory serves, the ML figures didn't have the same construction, where the feet were comprised of a sole and a top like the WWE figures.

Between, basics, Legends, All-Stars, DM, Elites, 2-pack & multiples for customs I've well over 500 Mattel's...and of all those only my 4 boppv Bret Hart and 2 elite Cena (boppv & his first elite) have had loose ankles. Other than that all others are fine. And the only QC issues I had were 3 fused hips that snapped/tore off when I went to fix them (DM Macho and 2 b2 Kozlov)

Similar question - does anyone else ever encounter loose arms?
The last three figures I've bought - E19 HBK and Brock, E16 Punk) all have one arm that, if you lift them either forward or backward, fall right back to pointing straight down.

Weird. All of those were staight out of the box.

Yes that has happened to me 3 or 4 times once I split the torso, but not straight out of the box

Tried to post a pic but can't ever seem to be able to post them I have an email acct. I just take a pic w/ my phone, send it to my email. download it to the computer/flash drive and in the attachment part of your comment just click browse & find your saved pic. That should put the pic up for you. That's the easiest way I've efound. Others may use a different method. People on here seem to be a bit anal about pics. Plus for problems like this, being able to see it helps people offer suggestions for repair.

I have some that are looser than others, but 2 that flop around. One was b23 Triple H, which didn't bother me as I only bought that one for the new scan. I try to get one figure of every scan.
