Multiple times a day I get this bulls**t call, Ann from Account Services looking to refinance my credit card. If you press 1, an agent will assist you! When you press 1, the agent either hangs up immediately, hangs up the second you ask any questions.. or god help us all, if you tell them to quit calling. I've been nice, I've been rude. I've been obnoxious, I've been loud. I've talked just as slowly as I could.. I've even told them I wanted to refinance my credit card! and every time.. they just hang up. THREE TIMES today they called.
Does anyone else get this nonsense? How do you stop it?

I've been harassed. Then I tell them I'm calling a attorney if they don't stop. Hence I haven't received a phone call from them since.

Step 1- Find out what company is calling you. If its a local company. Go to step 2 Step 2-Find out who "Ann" is. Once you find out the company using websites such as linkedin and facebook, you can get a facial recognition of what Ann looks like. Step 3- Start following Ann around until she's in a public place. Step 4- Turn your Cell phone off and stick it in your pocket. Randomly stop Ann and tell her you're lookign for your elderly mother/young daughter and you dont have your cell phone. Ask if you can borrow hers for a moment to try and reach them. Proceed to call your phone. Pretend to find them and tell them you'll meet them ____, thank Ann greatly for helping you and leave. Step 5- Turn your phone on and find Ann's personal Cell phone number. Step 6- Travel though the city throughout the day and night calling her non stop on pay phones asking if she would like to refinance her credit card. Tell her if she's interested to press 1 and if not press 2. Whatever she presses, keep repeating. Enjoy!  |

put yourself on the do not call list... there are websites for it... just remember to update when it expires.....

I get calls from Diverse Consultants daily. Mine are 7-10 times a day though and it's rather annoying. I've told them what seems like hundreds of times before to stop and it just doesn't work. So I kinda know what you are going through...

I sometimes get calls from random sh*t as well but I pretty much know not to answer some #s by now.
It really sucks that you are being harassed though so I'd try to block the number and or threaten them with legal action [maybe it will work?].
If not then you could change your phone number although that would be a big hassle.

I haven't been hit by this one, but I have been getting calls from a Jamaican area code, claiming to be representing the Mega Millions Lottery... No, not a STATE lottery, just one of the games. Anyway, yesterday was the last time they called, this time "Norman" speaks to me saying I won 2.8 million, and needs my bank account and routing number to wire me my money. So I asked where he was calling from, he says Las Vegas. I tell him I am on vacation in Vegas! Wow! Just give me your office address and I can come pick up the money!
...piece of **** hung up on me.
