What I think is hilarious is how many of you fail to realize how many guys smoke pot in WWE. Orton probably pays that 2500 dollar fine every single time he gets tested. Bourne (who has the longest healing foot injury in history) also is an avid smoker. Who knows how many other guys in the back do it but it really isn't a big deal and I really really hope WWE just fines him and keeps his push going. In fact if they do write it into the story line that he was wrongfully arrested and the cops was a hispanic or something. Holy crap that would be golden. One of the best storylines in a while actually due to the reality factor. THIS. i really want to see swagger with this push at WM. pot is harmless. there's no argument with that, other than after chronic use is can cause minor lung damage. MINOR. no cancer problems. and it isn't like pot will ENHANCE swagger's performance, if anything, he probably just uses it after the stress from the matches he puts on for us every other night. bud is relaxing. it's more like a drink before bed, but even less harmful. SOME STATES ARE EVEN LEGALIZING OR DECRIMINALIZING IT ALREADY. if swagger is taken out of the main event and someone like orton fills in for this incident, i'm not ordering WM this year. didn't rvd get suspended for a week like a week after winning the ECW title back in 05-06? i think that swagger should be punished with a fine or so, yes, but taking away a man's dreams of having a whc match at WM and ruining a possibly great WM match is just silly, even for business. The issue is not him getting caught with pot, it is him getting pulled over for driving under the influence, which no matter what he was on is ILLEGAL. Why are some having so much trouble understanding this? You cannot operate a motor vehicle while under the influence, be that alcohol or a drug such as marijuana.

Let me just add that just now, after I got done telling my Brother about this Swagger bullcrap, he told me how a buddy of his has actually smoked with Kofi Kingston before and that his friend is good friends with Kofis brother. All I'm saying is that its not like he got arrested for being drunk, or being on any other heavier drugs like coke or crack. All he got busted with is a little bit of weed and the cop game him a friggin DUI and arresed him for it. Some of you might call that "standard protocol" but these days. Cops don't give one $hit about pot for the most part. And the ones who do are just hardasses who aren't with the times. And the specific cop/s whoactually charged Jack with a DUI for weed had to have some sort of serious issue. Whether it be he's a wwe mark who believes in kayfabe, a hispanic officer with a gripe about swags new gimmick, or just a plain douchebag. He definately should've gave Swag a warning and let him be on his way. Again, the issue is not having pot in the car, the issue is operating a motor vehicle while under the influence. Is this really that hard to understand?

What's the chances of Swagger leaving WrestleMania with the World Championship?
High-ly unlikely.

Well WWE is taking steps foward with this gimmick. They uploaded 3 new pretty edgy videos to the wethepeoplezeb account. I actually thoroughly enjoyed every one of them and hope this is a sign that this storyline will indeed continue as planned.

Here's the Ironic thing about all of this........ www.wbir.com/news/article/234355/2/Mom-petitions-for-Amelias-Law-after-daughter-dies-in-wreckA few months ago a 16yo girl was killed by a drunk driver who had a drug record. That 16yo girl was the grand daughter of....Dutch Mantel. Fast forward, here's Dutch Mantel managing a guy who could potentially become world champion and he gets arrested for drinking and drugs. I would LOVE to hear what Mantel thinks about all of this.

For all we know, that's just them keeping up appearances until Monday when they can write the character off or something. They were probably all filmed in advance of this incident.

And just whom might you be talking about there, Capt. Know nothing? The reports say that Swagger is facing DUI charges so its not him and the guy that killed Dutch's 16yo Granddaughter had lengthy DUI charges. While he might not have been drunk at the time (he was actually loaded up on Meth and Oxycotton), it doesnt change the fact he was a DRUNK DRIVER. Maybe you should learn to read and comprehend.

Yeah pretty much, they aren't going to drop it without explanation. We'll just have to wait for Raw/SD to see what happens.

He is trying to say Swagger wasn't drinking/drunk, which you claimed he was. "Fast forward, here's Dutch Mantel managing a guy who could potentially become world champion and he gets arrested for drinking and drugs." I do agree with the majority that just because it was marijuana it doesn't change the fact it's DUI. DUI is DUI regardless. I am a firm believer in legalizing marijuana, but NOT DUI of it.

Ahh got ya, the original article I read when this first came out said DUI but didnt mention that it was NOT alcohol. I havent bothered looking at the reports since. When I says DUI and also in possession of drugs, as well as saying "its not been said if he was drug tested" 99.9% of the time alcohol is involved.

No problem, I just remember reading an article about it and it said it wasn't alcohol he was driving under the influence of. It's very possible the article was wrong, and it was in fact alcohol. I also haven't looked at the reports since OP posted this thread, so I could be wrong. Regardless though, he was still allegedly DUI so I guess it doesn't really matter what it was lol.

Seen it posted on TMZ and it seems like these guys will never learn. It just amazes me that even though they are given tremendous opportunities, they stll find a way to screw the whole damn thing up. I just hope this won't affect Bruno Sammartino's judgement about going into the WWE Hall of Fame, seeing as he was under the impression that WWE has cleaned up their act and is serious with the drug testing and all that.
