I know this isnt about Mattel directly but I know lots of us have really been wanting a Paul Bearer figure to go with our Undertakers. I am really sadden to hear this news as it has come out of no where. I didnt even know his health was declining. My thoughts to his family and friends!
I personally hope Mattel still makes one as it would be a nice dedication to a man who has contributed a lot to the company! RIP William Moody!
Please keep in mind I added the figure aspect so it would be appropriate for the Mattel board. I would love to hear peoples favorite memories of him and if anyone ever got to meet him.

Will this impact a release of Paul Bearer figure? If they havent already got the rights to make one do you personally think it will be harder now or that mattel will even pursue it? I personally hope Mattel still makes one as it would be a nice dedication to a man who has contributed a lot to the company! RIP William Moody! I'm gonna be that guy right now. The man just died and you're worried about getting a toy.....smh.

Im not worried. I just thought we could discuss since we all seemed to really like William and his Character and contributions to wrestling.

I don't really think action figures of him is the most appropriate thing to be discussing right now.....a mans life has just ended, the first thing that pops into somebody's head should NOT be "gee hope I still get a toy of them".
There will be a time and a place.....but not now, not today.

I see nothing wrong with discussing an action figure of him. Its not like OP was being disrespectful. He (along with many) want a figure of hands down the very best manager of the 90s. Its not like we're all mourning his death, going to funerals or donating money/food to his family. We're fans, nothing more, nothing less.
As for the question at hand. I would (still) love to have a figure of Paul Bearer. He's one of very few managers I actually enjoyed.

People have wanted his figure for a while and it has been talked about. i see nothing wrong with them talking about his figure or him getting one now.

There is nothing inappropriate about wanting to pay tribute to him through an action figure that most of us have been wanting for awhile anyhow. We're fans - we remember those who we enjoyed watching, and our duty is to simply keep their memory alive.
I think the biggest shame outside of him dying so young is that he never got to give his much deserved Hall of Fame speech, and he won't get to speak on Undertaker's long-awaited career bio that is probably right around the corner next year.
It's surreal to think of him as deceased. :/

There will be a time and a place.....but not now, not today. That's all I'm saying too. It's fine to be fans, it's fine to want a figure. But the man's life just ended. It's not the most appropriate time to discuss this matter. And even still, there is a thread about this in the proper area. You know that one area of this forum...it's called "Pro Wrestling - WWE". This topic doesn't need to be discussed in the Mattel figure talk area too.

This really sucks. Was just watching the RAW from 98 earlier today, where him and Taker abduct Austin from the hospital and first try to bury him alive, but then decide to embalm him alive instead. Probably my second favorite manager of all time, behind Heenan.
RIP Mr. Bearer.
