Hey peeps. I just bought summerslam tickets (anyone else). I'm in Canada and never been to the staples center so I was just curious for people who have been there what section 101 row 16 is like? Good? Bad? Camera side? Not too worried should be a fun weekend lol. Now to sort out hotel and flight haha.

Nobody can answer this, as nobody knows what the set will be like.
Contact the venue to get an idea.

Um ya someone could easily answer this. I know nobody knows the set up. Looking at the chart from last year I'm asking what the view could be like from my section. But thanks for your answer bud!

I haven't been there, but I'm looking to get tickets in that same section. Waiting to hear back on some friends before I order though.

Oh dang, Summerslam is on sale already?! I better get on that. Sucks that it's the same week Payback is going on sale too; I'm gonna be broke.
Anyway, I've sat in FLOOR 1 for the past 4 Summerslams; that is the side you see on television. Since Section 101 is behind that, I'd say it's "good". Have fun!!

I've never been to the Staples Center, but it's a pretty standard sized basketball/hockey arena. Section 101 should put you on the TV side. It should give you a fantastic view. I would imagine you're halfway or a little more than halfway up, so you won't likely be on camera very much, but they may pick you up here and there.
But regardless, yes, it'll be an excellent view.

Section 101 is solid. Great for visibility. Floor is rough to see unless your front row and the riser behind the announcer side suffer from that same flaw.

They're on this new AXS website instead of Ticketmaster this year. www.axs.com/events/240142/wwe-summerslam-2013/promos/3639im pretty excited! long time away but it'll fly by. Anyone have an idea when axxess tickets go on sale? if they are even doing it again that is. Also, anyone live in LA??? Axxess goes on sale about a month before the PPV. They're definitely having one; it gets bigger and bigger every year. During college I lived within walking distance of LAX (perfect for traveling to PPVs!!!) but not anymore since I graduated.

I have seat 1, on the section 8 floor. I've read that the seats, if your facing the ring go right to left. This would put me next to the barrier where the wrestlers walk down to the ring. But, i'm not sure if its the same for the floor seats as it is for the regular seats... Anyone thats been to the Forum for a wrestling event know?

I got my tickets in the mail yesterday. Section PR9 - Row 6. Alright seats I guess. I'm just excited to scratch Summer Slam off my list of wrestling things to do.

But, i'm not sure if its the same for the floor seats as it is for the regular seats... Anyone thats been to the Forum for a wrestling event know? The arena will line up the chairs so that the seat numbers match the designation of the permanently fixated seats. All the 1's will either be on the left or the right from the floor, all the way up to the balcony, depending on what side you're located on. As for designation itself - arenas typically work left to right if you are the performer. So, if you're IN the ring, looking out, and there's twenty seats in a row, you're seeing 1 ------- 20. If the arena has opposite designation, meaning right to left, it is usually noted by Ticketmaster. The way to tell is by pulling up any number of tickets. If you were to pull up aisle seats, and the arena uses standard designation (left to right from the performer's viewpoint), they would be listed "Seats 1-2". If the arena uses reverse designation (left to right from the audience's viewpoint), you'll usually see "Seats 2-1".

So if they don't mess the seating up the camera will pan past me before every match. gotta make like a bunch of shirts of someone like Pancake Patterson for everyone in the front to wear...
