I was thinking of how Jakks took the risks and made suited figures and announcers and realized they never made a Michael Cole figure. Anybody know why?

Jakks rarely made any non wrestlers....and when they did they BOMBED (Bischoff, Heyman) they probably just felt it wasn't worth it.
But I never understood it, myself. Just make LESS of those guys, there would still be a market.

I assume they never made Cole because in Jakks heyday, he wasnt that prominent at the time. He was just another commentator/interviewer then. It would be like Mattel making a Josh Matthews figure right now. It just wouldn't make much sense business wise.

Seeing as how he really had no popularity until his heel turn a few years back. I'm really glad Jakks took a chance an made Lillian Garcia though. I think she was a moderate success for a non-wrestling female.

It's probably because non-wrestlers didn't sell well. I'm pretty sure the Wal-Mart I go to still has some Bischoff's and Heyman's.
They could have just paired Cole up with a ring, though. I always thought they were gonna do that.

Screw Cole! Lord Alfred Hayes or Sean Mooney before Michael "New Todd Pettingill" Cole.

Indeed, he was nobody Yeah but who knew that Michael Cole would turn out to be a huge player in the industry? Like when LJN made the Vince McMahon figure
