I didn't know that was actually possible and I'm being completely honest. Same. If this is true, and this actually begins to become more noticeable upon our TV screens, then I'm out for good. truth.......this is indeed a dark omen

Eh. I'm not worried. Vince aint getting any younger so it's only a matter of time before Trips fully takes over and with that report of him getting the workers to do ad-libbed promos, that's a big step in the right directions. With a lot the guys down in NXT and the up-and-comers on TV every week, the future looks promising.
It's not like WWE hasn't had their own "kids division" within the company before. With the kids magazine and all the kid oriented merchandising. I don't think the creation of this new position will affect the overall product too much, more the merchandising and maybe something like Saturday Morning Slam.
It's not like they can give us any more Cena than they've been giving us. And all the other child-oriented characters (Ryback, Kofi, Rey, Miz, Sheamus, etc.) are fun to watch outside of the sometimes frustrating "superface" booking seen with guys like Cena, Sheamus, and Ryback. But hell, even The Shield went over them. It seems like WWE are going to almost any length to protect those guys which is a great thing in my opinion but I digress.

The should make a separate Kids Brand with characters targeted towards 5-12 year olds. Keep RAW and Smackdown PG but with good matches and storylines.

Welp, TNA have all the opportunities they can get to take them on and they'll still up.

Hopefully this is kinda more directed towards the Kids Magazine, certain merch, promotion, and Saturday Morning Slam.
RAW and Smackdown don't need to be more family friendly IMO.

I dont mind them marketing more stuff towards kids, but I feel that RAW should remain as it is PG-13, if anything make Smackdown child friendly, seeing as its heavily dominated by raw recap stuff, most of us dont bother too much with Smackdown, I think it'd be a great idea to aim it at kids, which would give it more importance. while keeping raw for the teens and adult fans.

It was PG back in the 80's when I started watching. So I think I'll survive.
And besides just cause they are hiring someone in charge of child programming doesn't necessarily mean it'll affect RAW or SD in any way. So maybe people need to relax?

Omg what doesn't get about that wrestling is not for kids Did we not all get in to pro wrestling as kids? Everyone forgets that and thinks they were always a 15 workrate and deathmatch fan. Wrestling is for kids (and kids that never grew up). If marketing harder to kids means more fun characters, I'm all for it.

I just don't get it....they are acting like a Supermarket company. THIS IS ING PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING The NFL doesn't cater to kids, nor the NBA or NHL, or any other sport. Yes they have aspects that appeal to all ages, but they aren't focusing on trying to get fans between the ages of 10-16. I thought I read somewhere that their ratings showed the biggest audience between 18-49...by ALOT. and I could guarantee that more adults buy their toys than kids.
