Keep this and Boardwalk Empire going as long as you can please I totally forgot about that show. Is it still worth watching after the death of you know who?

I so badly wanted Daenerys to just let her dragons scorch that Kraznys guy after they told her about the babies. Hopefully he gets his before all is said and done. I personally think Daenerys continues to be the best developed character on the show. She's on a journey and it's inching forward. Watching the dragons fly around the boat and the idea of her having a soulless army just makes you foresee the destruction she could bring upon the other armies. Loved the sit down with Tyrion and Tywin. It seems wise not to play chess with a chess master but then Tywin and Cersei constantly under estimate him. I think if anyone lays a finger on Shae that they'll come to regret it dearly. Which is why I chuckle when Tywin made such a sweeping threat. Let the games between Cersei and the Tyrells begin. Margaery knows how to play the game. The Stannis story is really my least favorite. I just don't like anything about him and he seems like he'd be worse on the throne than Joffrey. I do want to see Melisandre get got though. Jon Snow is tricky for me. One of my favorite characters but he feels so removed. Obviously, if no one stops the white walkers there will be no throne to fight over but he seems like a lamb out fighting past the wall. I did like his story watching the sacrifice come back into play. Definitely missed Arya but it seems like we will get her progression next week. Same with Bran. It's interesting how each of the Stark kids has spiraled off into such different directions. Sansa is going to run head first into a wall with Littlefinger. Just a disaster waiting to happen. I like the Talisa and Robb pairing, seems like a legitimate king and queen if they can ever get to the throne. I think Robb, like Ned before him, represents the "hope" for the kingdom. Sadly, we all know where hope has gotten us so far. I love everything about this show though. It's so intricate and intertwined and last night just left me begging for more of the story when the episode was over. Great detailed post. I agree with most of it too. The man who sold his baby killing army to Daenerys really needs to get killed. He made his soldiers do terrible things and was just talking hella sh*t to her in his language! I think the scene with Tyrion and Tywin was great. Tywin really told the 'imp' off like damn! I love Cersei she is such a bitch. More scenes for her please. The red-headed lady is a bitch herself and needs to get burned like she burned all those poor people. We shall see if that happens. Overall it was a great episode. Like people have said it is hard to impossible for a show with so many characters to further everyone in 50-60 minute episodes. Now if they were 90 minutes maybe but they wouldn't do that.

Brilliant first episode back. Still not convinced on the Stannis storyline, but Khaleesi and this new unic army are intriguing.

Just to get this out of the way, man has Bran gotten older looking haha. Kids do that I suppose. That whole vision thing with Jojen intrigues the hell out of me though. Curious to know more about how they are linked, at least beyond just their fathers.
Arya and The Hound have long term potential imo. Those 3 need a teacher and a way to get Arya back to Robb's camp if she isn't going to go to Braavos. The Hound has shown a soft spot for the Starks before so we shall see if that continues. I'm still of the opinion that Gendry is the rightful heir to Roberts throne, being he's the only real Baratheon son. So at some point, he needs to learn how to fight.
My favorite part of the episode was Jaime and Brienne fighting on the bridge. I was laughing from the banter and you felt like it was almost in jest just so Jaime could see what she was made of as a fighter. Robb needs Jaime back as a prison to prove to his army they leverage but Brienne is surely going to protect Jaime now. I would imagine their escape is inevitable.

Yeah, it's weird how much older he's grown! The story's getting fragmented a bit. I think there are 11 or 12 different mini-stories going on, so it's getting more difficult to fit them all into an episode. The fight was great and hopefully Robb can get Jaime back. Strange goings-on with Theon.

so I just heard that Season 3 is adapting half of a Sword of Storms and Season 4 will be the other half.hopefully we still get to see some of the high points of book 3 this season.
I suppose it makes sense since the third book is substantially bigger than the first two.

Strange goings-on with Theon. This is what happens with fragmented story telling: Dissapointed that there was no Khalesee this week I feel the same way. While I'm genuinely intrigued by so many paths more often than not, Daenerys is the story I most love and when we don't get that it leaves you with some level of disappointment. Insert your favorite character here. Conversely though, I now care about characters I didn't before. So the development of Robb, Theon, Jaime, Bran and especially Arya who became intriguing as hell last season imo, actually matters to me. With season 1, Ned Stark was my favorite character with Khaleesi and Jon Snow right behind. While Daenerys and Snow are still my favorites, I now would say I'm rooting for so many other characters as you see them grow over the course of the show, Tyrion, Jaime, Gendry, and of course the Stark kids. At some point a lot of these stories will surely meet head on as well. It does keep it fresh and it does keep you wanting more. Maybe that's why it's so good.

I just started reading book one and plan to read the graphic novel and watch the show once I'm done. Then onto book 2 and season 2 then book 3 catch up on season 3. Then books 4 and 5. I've taken a real liking to the series.

Wow at season 3, episode 3's ending.. Jamie's poor hand! And it sucks that he was being nice not letting Brienne get raped and all.

What an absolutely incredible Khaleesi moment. Pretty much her most epic shining moment to-date if you ask me. I rewatched the ending again as soon as the episode was over. I had chills watching her ride away with the army and the shot with dragons. Just incredible. Loved every second of that and it built so well to that moment.
