Construction of the set has begun at MetLife Stadium...again this is a real early look with not much being shown. *If you do not want to see it yet...you shouldn't have clicked on this thread to begin with, but avoid scrolling down further* They seem to be going all out on this one; taking out already installed seats in the lower bowl to place down that MASSIVE Empire State Building (not even taking into consideration everything else they may put around it; Statue of Liberty is still not placed), LED screens being installed at the top of the lower bowl, what seems to be the George Washington Bridge going across the length of the stage...I'm making an early prediction that this can easily be the best entrance set they've ever designed/constructed. *UPDATE* Found another picture just now showcasing the center structure w/ skyline pieces placed along one side of the tower:  *4/3/2013 UPDATE*   *Thanks to DrakeParker for finding these shots* |

Can't wait to see it. Those pictures posted a while back of the Statue of Liberty and whatnot had me excited enough, but this is even cooler.

I hate how much the WWE wants us to believe this is a New York event. Either way, I can't wait to see the finished piece.

When they first announced the WM29 logo, my first thought was that the stage be a skyline shot. This is gonna look great!

WWE is always gonna be alligned with NYC and lets be honest, the only reason Metlife got Mania is becauase of NYC. NJ is a straight dump. |

So excited to see how this turns out live. My seats are all the way up behind the stage, does anyone know if theres going to be jumbo trons around the arean? Hopefully there will be so I can actually see whats going on. Soo excited to be there live!

They will likely have screens hanging from the canopy structure above the ring that will be holding the lights and protecting the ring in case of rain. Also was looking at pics of Metlife Stadium and they have screens on each corner of the stadium. Those will likely be used as video trons as well. |

Chances are it won't be big though. |
