I know this is out dated, and even though I watched it when it happened, I watched the match for the first time since it happened, and to be honest, it still breaks my heart. He was the best performer in Sports Entertainment IMO. He was amazing with his charisma, his mic skills weren't to bad either, as well as he was a legend with the Ladder match, Iron man match, and the Elimination Chamber. Even though he only gets credit for one he deserves all. And I'm happy he was the first ever grandslam champion. Sorry about that, had to get my pain out.

He's definitely missed and will never be replaced. Selfishly I hope for one more match down the line. But he seems content to be away. Say what you will about the man and his past but he's one of the best to ever grace the ring.

I wish WWE did a full on retirement ceremony for Michaels like they did for Flair. Michaels definitely goes as one of the best. And how he started out in a tag team and slowly worked his way up through the ranks, something that doesn't really happen in WWE these days, I respect him for that. He's made some mistakes, but nobody's perfect.

Definitely one of the best, and I've been missing him wrestling weekly since less than a month when he retired. A l of people say he wasn't the best with promos, but in my opinion, they were great because you could actually feel emotion in them.

He's amazing. I was watching his taker matches today and yesterday. Hes worked his a** off to be what I think is the greatest entertainer to grace his presence in a WWE ring!

I do miss him as an active performer, but he was ready to go and stuck to it. Gotta admire that.

This is a long shot, but I've always thought, if it would be ANYONE to put Undertaker's streak away and send him away it would be Shawn. They started close together and know eachother, it'd be great for him to come back for one more match

I'm glad that someone has actually retired and stayed retired for once.

HBK was a great wrestler/entertainer. I've never been his biggest fan so I haven't "missed" him so to speak. I'm actually very impressed that he's actually stayed retired. I enjoy seeing him pop up every now and then on Raw because he is a great speaker and people do love him. He definitely put on a lot of fantastic 5 star matches.

Everyday I miss him man. Fortunately, he's one of those guys, and rightfully so, that WWE will continue to immortalize in history through their website, magazines, DVDs and so on and so forth. So we can always go back and relive everything he gave to us.
As far as the retirement thing, I always wanted his last match to be against Triple H personally. So if he came back one last time to do that then I'd be floored. However, I'm not going to be offended if he never comes back and it really looks like he's just enjoying life. He left some match-ups on the table, specifically with Ziggler for me, but that's always going to be the case when a guy walks away. I know there are tons of people who wanted to see him face The Rock. So do I have some "oh I wish he would have faced..." type of match scenarios? Yeah, but he gave us 8 years I genuinely consider "icing on the cake" years. Just to get him back at SummerSlam 02 was the biggest dream come true for me as a wrestling fan.
Greatest of all time imo. No questions asked. He's certainly not for everybody, but when it comes to how I see pro wrestling, he's the guy who sets the bar for everyone else.

I was happy when he retired. Long career and damn accomplished I'll give him that, but I did not enjoy his work overall.

If anyone deserved that kind of retirement ceremony, it was Shawn Michaels. His speech was great though.

Shawn Michaels is the best ever. Anyone who doubts his mic skills is delusional. And no one and I mean no one can say he isn't amazing in the ring.
Not a day has gone by since he's retired that I've wished to see him come back. I never got why he hasn't either. He says that he wants to stay retired as he promised. But its fn pro wrestling. He needs to come back for one small funal run.
