Glad to see most of you guys feel the same as me. I mean I don't think I've ever been this disinterested in the WWE post-WM. Cena as champ again does nothing to help evolve the company or move it forward. W/ Punk currently directionless and looking to take time off, Rocky most likely leaving until the summer, and Lesnar and Ryback once again on the loosing end of big matchs, there seems to be no legit threat to Cena who will mostly likely have a super long reign now that he is back on top (urgh...). The Shield is one choice, but we've seen this already and I don't want to see Super Cena overcome the odds once again at the expense of these three guys.Had Cena turned heel tonight atleast it would have been fresh while he took on faces like Orton, Sheamus, and others, but nope, he is still a stale face w/ no legit heels to challenge him at the moment.
Dolph has been booked like crap since defeating Cena at TLC, and as much as I would love to see him win the WHC and have a lengthy reign, I have the feeling the WWE will either give him a Christian type reign where he wins it then looses it right away, or a Swagger type reign where he holds it for a few months but is booked to look weak. Either way he has no credibility right now. I've never been high on Del Rio and sadly it looks like he will continue to have a lengthy reign unless Dolph cashes in soon (which I doubt given the WWE seems to be hesitant to pull the trigger on him).
Sheamus, Orton, Bryan, Kofi, and Cesaro are other top guys who also have no direction currently (and the last two weren't even on the card). Orton seems to still be in the dog house from his suspension last year and simply cannot be trusted in a top feud. They did the Sheamus thing last year, and I don't think many want to see another lengthy reign from him for a while. Bryan is stuck in the Hell No team w/ Kane, which lost steam long ago. He needs to either feud w/ Kane or get back to being a singles guy. The guys listed could all be used so much better, but sadly the WWE would rather push the super stale Cena and highly overrated Miz over these guys.
