Okay so I have 87 mattel figures. Well I have never displayed them properly if that makes sense, Well I currently have them just squeezed into 3 rings waiting for them to be displayed. Well I know a vendor who will sell me 75 display stands for £27. how do you display your figures? As I'm not sure whether to display them without the stand or with the stand to stop them being knocked over? Thank you

I don't use stands. Main reason being that Mattel hasn't included them with figures in a while so I'd be quite a bit short. My figures are displayed on shelves free standing. I used to have a domino effect crash every few weeks but I identified the figures with the loose ankles. Then I used the superglue trick (place a drop on the joint and keep bending it until the glue dries...you retain movement but the joint is much more stable). I haven't had a figure fall over in months now.

There's far too many "well"s in your OP.

I have a small collection of my personal favorites and I display them on one shelf, on the Raw Entrance Stage set and one Raw ring, under my signed picture of AJ Lee. I have about 16 figures total. Not a big collection but I only keep the best version of my favorites, only get people that I actually like, and only Elite's (Basic's if there isn't already or going to be a Elite version). A simple display that illustrates my love of WWE and wrestling in general. Don't use the display stands for them. Since Mattel stopped packaging them, I have gotten pretty good at keeping my figures standing. A random bump may send someone tumbling, but that usually reveals which ones need adjustment, and I fix the stance so they stand with no issues. Plus the shelf is on top of a dresser which I open and close drawers in on a daily basis, and none of my figures fall over. Hope that kind of helps you decide what you want to do. The display stands are a good idea if you think your figures will always be falling over, but if you have them in a place that doesn't get disturbed that much or even if it does like my display, if you get them to balance just right, they will never fall down.

I find stands take up too much space. So you can get more figures on a shelf without them.

I like the stands. Some figures don't sit up well without them. I lucked in a few months ago and bought a lot with tons of figures and stands. Since then, I haven't had to worry.

Put them on different levels instead of having them all standing on the same surface. It'll look so much better it's ridiculous.

I display them loose, just standing up. I also have a setup for the arena.

I don't use stands either. As mentioned already they take up too much space on the shelf and you can fit more figures without them. Most figures don't tend to fall over very often and if you have a few that do, just use one of the methods above. I personally use the super glue method and it has worked for me numerous times.

I used to stand them without stands but RSC recently had a $12.99 for 3 on the deluxe stands and I have to say that it was the best $25.00 I have ever spent. I like this because I don't into too many issues where one guy is blocking another. If I run out of room then I have my Arena setup which is still a WIP. I can always display some figs in a Battle Royal or whatnot.

I was considering some of these myself. Does anyone know what the assembly is like for them?

I was considering some of these myself. Does anyone know what the assembly is like for them? I've seen a lot of people use these. The delivery/shipping fees are absolutely abominable, though. I also see people using spice rack organizers for figures. They're cheap at Target, and you can stand a bunch of figures on them because they have three tiers. Also, they expand outward, so you can usually fit a lot of figures on one unit.
