Um, what? Show me where I said I'm proud of hooliganism. Hooliganism doesn't add anything to the atmosphere of anything. Hooliganism takes place amongst violent people who use 'sporting passion' as an excuse to be violent. Your post reaks of ignorance. Well what does "UK and Irish fans are better than US fans in general in all sports" mean? Better? Better at what? At being fans? To be proud of your county and say our fans are better than your fans comes across pretty lame to me - there are pros and cons to everything. It sounds like just another lame Internet argument waiting to happen. It would be ignorant of you to think that hooliganism is not a problem with English sports - you really can't be blind to that, are you? And ya spelled reek wrong. If you're trying to teach me about hooliganism based on what you've read across the pond, don't bother. By better, I mean more rowdy; obviously. UK football teams have hundreds of terrace chants for everyone whereas American teams have one chant seemingly - 'let's go ______'. And seriously, MAKE SOME NOISE coming up on the big screen in games? You have to be told when to make noise? I mean we could argue all day about who is more rowdy and who is more passionate. We'll never come to a conclusion because we both have our opinions and we'll both end up sounding petty (a la you correcting a typo). I am a fan of the Celtics and Bruins so don't think I'm completely ignorant. I think passion in American sports is diminished by the trading system as well as loyalty to college players, but that's a different story for a different time, I guess.

Hooliganism is maybe 10% of the problem it was 30 years ago. Less. The singing etc isn't as good as it was then but its far better than across the pond.

I'd love to see crowds who actually look like they've gone to enjoy themselves rather than sit in their hands.
Like Lorenzo said though, I hope we don't get a bunch of crowds just chanting silly s*** and trying to draw attention from the show to them.
The fact that last night's RAW was genuinely pretty great and all people talk about after is the fans is kind of sad.
