I haven't found ANYTHING good at my local TRU (Outside of the Exclusive ref HBK) in about a year, and usually they have nothing but whatever BOPPV figs are still left. So imagine my surprise when I walked in today and found all of Battle Packs 21, Basic 26 HBK, Savage, and Taker, and all of Elite 20 except Jericho and Christian.  I ended up picking up Savage, HBK, and Punk:    I've wanted to pick up another Savage to display loose for a while (the only one I have is the BP with Punk and I'm keeping that mock in case I ever get to meet Punk) and this one had a pretty special meaning to me, as the WrestleMania 5 VHS was one of the first wrestling tapes I ever owned. Granted the attire is a bit bland for a Savage, but like I said it has emotional resonance. Honestly, I wish they had included a bandana instead of the glasses though.   While Shawn Michaels has been my favorite wrestler for 20 years (and by far my most collected action figure across all lines) I've never been a fan of his 2005 and onwards leather tights and didn't have Mattel one of that variety yet. While I'm still not a huge fan of this attire, at least it has red in it to pop off my shelf.   Honestly, I love this Punk. I know some people have questioned the attire choice (and admittedly it is weird that they went with an attire that to the best of memory hasn't been worn at a major show since 2009) but I actually like it. The red/white/and blue color scheme looks really good, and breaks the monotony of black-tights Punks that dominate my shelf. Also picked up the Rumblers Rampage Punk. Not a collector of the line, but I have the GTS pose one on my desk, so I figured this one would look good next to it.  Also, TRU was running a promotion giving away a Wrestlemania photo/poster with every WWE purchase of $20 or more.  I'm not a fan of either of the guys on it frankly, but I was thinking about framing it with my ticket from Sunday. Thanks for checking out the thread and pickups guys. I'll leave you with a little cross-generational dream match.  |

i love the macho man, i have it myself. only other macho man i have is all-stars. i threw the extra bandana on the B26. awesome gets. i think they did that punk attire because he is from chicago, hence his attire being cubs colors  . |

I'm loving the Punk even more seeing how much it stands out from the others on my shelf. I think it might be my second favorite Punk I have, only behind E16.  |

Elite 20 Punk is one of the best Punk's Mattel has produced. There is something about that look on his face that just screams CM Punk. Nice to see a Toysrus with actual WWE figures. What a concept. A toy store that actually has toys in it. Toysrus you are finally realizing your potential...HEH! But it is nice to find an actual variety of WWE figures at Toysrus, and a good amount of Elites too. I just went to the Toysrus by my work a few days ago and they had all of Elite 20 (except Jericho) in-stock, and multiples of most of the figures, pretty surprising.

I picked up e20 Cena mainly for the briefcase and I grabbed a legends 2 pack of The Iron shiek and Volkoff, which is odd because my TRU is always stocked with that first legend 2 pack series so I might have to o back and grab the Bushwackers so I have the set complete and loose |

That's a pretty solid TRU shelf. The stores around me have been pretty damn dry for quite some time now. Last time I was there they were still stocking E18.

I've only seen one PTP set and I had to phone and get it put by for me, so it's weird seeing one front and centre in your TRU.
I like punk, but I don't know why but there's one thing about that figure I don't like. Not saying its a bad figure or anything, but I dont fancy it.

The only place he wore that attire in 2009 was in someone's dreams. CM Punk has never worn that outfit in real life. It looks cool though and is a great figure. Punk should get that gear made.
