I know a lot of people would love a Mattel Benoit but remember when Jakks made him he was one of the biggest shelf warmers so Mattel probably wouldn't even make a profit if they released him.

That was when he was alive and a midcarder. 1. They never would because WWE doesn't even mention the fact that he ever existed. and 2. If they did, all the collectors would buy it because "He's dead"

I don't ever recall him warming pegs...except for the R3 in a tshirt and dress pants. I'd love one, but it'll never happen. As for a profit Mattel would have made their profit/sales when they sold their cases to the retailers.

I'm not sure that's the main reason for not making one... I'm reasonably certain it isn't. He'd sell. He fits into several groups. Smackdon six, 4 Horsemen, he could be considered part of the attitude era too. They won't make him for other reasons.

Seriously, stop making these benoit threads.
The man will never get a new figure, go into the hall of fame, or ever get mentioned by wwe again. He is forever blacklisted for doing what he did.
Can you imagine the number of lawsuits wwe would have on there hands for doing anything promoting the man again ? They would in in essence be saying its ok to murder someone for no reason, after enough time has passed.
I have no desire to own anything related to the man, ever.

Of course it would just for the fact that one exists. His Jakks figures never flew off the shelves, but I don't recall any of them reaching Eric Bischoff in karate gear or Slimfit Paul Heyman levels.

What would be the accessory? Rope? Bibles? Bowflex machine? It'd need to be a Defining Moments figure to have all of them, and that line is finished, so it won't happen. But I'd buy that DM.
In all seriousness, there's something genuinely wrong with people wanting Chris Benoit dolls.

Buying a Benoit figure is pretty much like slapping Daniel, Nancy and the rest of his family in the face and spitting on their graves. I could care less what he did in the ring. If he hadn't done what he did, and was still alive nobody would probably even think twice about him. Benoit reminds me of the movie "Natural Born Killers" everyone was so obsessed with the murderers and treated them like rock stars. Disgsting how people want a figure of a child and female killer.
