Who should win?
IMO RVP doesn't deserve it because he's dropped off these past few weeks. Ditto Suarez; not dropped off as much but has nonetheless. Bale has the opposite problem: he wasn't anything special before January, and therefore shouldn't win. I have no idea why Hazard was nominated; he had about 5 great games at the start of the season, nowhere near enough to be nominated. Should've been Michu imo (obviously wouldn't've won but deserved a nomination).
That leaves Mata and Carrick, and either of them would be worthy winners imo.

k, read the thread wrong. Gareth Bale will probably win it but I reckon it should go to Michael Carrick too. Bit of an unsung hero this season, looks a complete rock in the centre of midfield and generally makes the team much stronger, something that maybe has been missing since Roy Keane. Bale for YPOTY.

It's gotta be Gareth Bale. The form he has been in has been absoutely ridiculous.

Juan Mata, his goal & assist record speaks volume. Still don't get how he gets overlooked by Spain. If not Mata, Gareth Bale or Carrick.

Gareth Bale I think. Pretty much a one man team. As much as I hate to say it too, Michu really should have been in there.
