Seriously. My TRU got in one case of DI9 this week and there were FOUR Christopher Daniels figures in the case. They're all still hanging on the pegs. Someone bought all of the Jeff Hardys, all of the Austin Aries and all but one of Gail Kim. Why do they not pack the more popular figures more heavily? I know a lot of people around here hate all of the Jeff Hardy repaints, but he's their most popular selling figure. Jeff Hardy should be the one packed 4 per case, not Daniels. All of the Daniels and Magnus figures are going to hang around forever.
The same thing happened with DI8. My Kmart got in one single case of that series and there are still 3 Matt Morgans hanging on the pegs. Why did they pack the least popular person in the set more heavily than Hulk Hogan and Sting. Even RVD and AJ Styles are much more popular figures.

I've wondered the same thing. Why pack Mr. Anderson at 3-4 per case in wave 7? That figure is still warming at the local K-mart. I like the guy and all, but that was overkill. People want to bitch about Mattel's shortpacking, but shortpacks make sense. Overpacking creates a nightmare and clogs shelves, and Jakks TNA is proof. I still need Magnus, but I also want the Hardy, and if it comes down to it, I'll have to get the Hardy over the Magnus, because Hardy will be a $25 figure a year from now, and Magnus might still be pegwarming.
