Those of you that come in here and post in threads like champions thread or the what is this guy doing in your fed thread, can you please go to the main board and read the shows a few of us are posting and reply to them? Tell us what you liked, what you didn't like.
I'm asking because all of our shows get one or two replies if we are lucky.
I have not been asked by others to make this thread nor do I speak for them but I feel the following statement may be what others are feeling.
Part of the reason I write my show is for my own amusement but the biggest part is I write for everyone here. And if no one is going to bother reading AND replying then why should I continue posting my shows? I'm sure all of us posting shows get frustrated with the lack of replies to our shows but then see the pretty good activity in the help board. If the people contributing to the help board threads could read and reply to shows I'd be forever grateful
The part about replying also should be pointed at those who write shows. If you want replies then you should reply to other shows.
I want both boards to be incredibly active and I encourage everyone that does not currently have a show but does post in the help board to consider starting a fed and posting shows. I am willing to help everyone start a fed. I'll give tips and pointers. We can have an active community once again, we just need to expand outside the "what is this guy doing" thread.

It's no wonder people aren't putting out new shows. Only a couple people are replying to shows (if anyone responds at all). I've had a new show up for 5 days and zero replies. Other shows that are up for longer get one or two replies (because I'm replying to shows). We've had how many replies to the "What is your guy doing" thread in the past week yet 99% of the people replying in that thread don't go to the main board and comment on shows.
If we want an active board then we all must contribute, we can't just barricade ourselves in one thread.
When I posted this thread I got an influx of replies to my show, that's great but it died down. I don't mean to make a post like this after every show I post gets zero comments because people will reply to shows for a day or two and then stop. I don't want you to stop replying. I don't want you to reply just because I make a post asking you guys to reply. Reply because you want the board to be alive. If you only want the "what is your guy doing" thread then we might as well just all stop posting shows (the very very few of us that still do post shows) and posting anything else.
In fact, I'd be in favor of locking that thread until we got more activity on the board. I know it's an easy thread to reply to but I guarantee those who do post shows and posted shows in the past are extremely frustrated over the fact that that thread gets more replies in a day than any of our shows will ever get.
