Smackdown is being tapped in my area tonight, I found a add on craigslist for people offering free tickets as seat fillers. Has anyone else seen this? We contacted them and they gave us a thing to print out telling us to meet them at the vip section for a meeting before the show, said where to park for free and has a e-mail and phone number attached. They said we need to call them if we can't make it. Anyone else done this before? I don't want to drive 30mins for bs.

I believe it. SD! attendance is horrible in any non-major area.

if true and legit, that is awesome. if it's a scan, joey buttafucco needs to be hired to shoot them in the face.

The phone number has a local area code, so it must be a local buisness.

It may just be a local contact, it happens often with concerts if they don't sell well.

I've seen seat fillers at a Smackdown show a few years back. We noticed a producer constantly moving this group of people to different seat and then moving them again.

Yea I've heard of this, dont know if yours is true, but basically you can sign up for a seat filler and basically you move around on the camera side. You may split from your party, you may not. You may move around serveral times. Say a mom and two kids are sitting row 1 dead center in the bleachers and they get up to use the bathroom/snack stands. You may be moved into their seat until they return which could be 15-20 mins. Then move around more.

It is a real thing. You will sit over by the cameras in the lower level and when someone in the lower level of the side on tv gets up the producer (Steve Rubin) will direct you to that seat to fill it til they return. Not a bad deal. I have never done it personally but always see them at events

My buddy did this for summerslam 06. He knew someone though to get the gig. I was at the show but much further away from all the seats he had to fill. It's tough to say if they'd have an ad on Craigslist for this bit hopefully it's legit.

Yeah I chose not to work for my ticket. I'd rather sit and enjoy the show than have to do all the crap they wanted us to do. couldn't get anyone to go with me in such short notice either. :/
