I was watching it on tape delay and the crowd was so dead, especially during jericho's promo on fandango, then earlier when Ryback came face to face with Daniel Bryan during the interview, not one peep.
Anyone else notice this?

They weren't New York/Chicago hot, But they weren't dead either. They gave the average pops and boos of the night.

It's not like they got a good show anyway.

To be fair, for all we know, that Raw in New Jersey could have been pretty crappy without DAT CROWD. Crowds make the shows. Last nights fans were decent. Weren't Corpus Christi dead but weren't NJ/NY/Chicago hot, either, by far.

I highly disagree with the 'bad Raw = bad crowd' argument. Especially in the first half of the show people could be going nuts, they probably might only realize the show sucked a few hours after the show's over. So how does 'bad Raw = bad crowd' make any sense?

I think all the future RAW audiences are gonna sound dead because they'll never sound as good as NJ...

Sounded like a typical RAW crowd these days to me.

thought they were fine and that show was excellent. That Del Rio/Ziggler match with Swagger was something else.

So how does 'bad Raw = bad crowd' make any sense? Because if the show is boring then there is no reason to be excited, therefore, bad show = bad crowd. It's VERY rare that you will get a crowd like NJ that will make a bad show good. And if the show sucks, it won't take hours to realize it.

I'll tell ya, last night's Raw was the first I've watched in it's entirety in a while. And I can say, it was mediocre at best. Next week will probably be worse, as most Raws are pretty bad before PPVs....

Guess I'm in the minority. I really enjoyed Monday's Raw.

The main event was pretty lackluster and the crowd seemed to not care one bit with the few "Boring" and "Goldberg" chants. Although there were some "Let's go Kane" ones too.
