The only real meet and greet I have done was at the Ring of Honor Death Before Dishonor show I went to. Probably the coolest, nicest guys I've met were Jay Lethal and Bobby Fish. The time I met D. Bry before a house show he was super rad too. I don't chat with the guys much though. It's mainly a nerves thing, worried I don't have anything interesting to say. I told Bobby Fish that him and Kyle O'Reilly were the reasons I got back into ROH though. And I reminded Lethal that I had just met him a couple months prior to that when he came to Edmonton for a local Indy show. He was jazzed I traveled from Edmonton to Vegas just for a Ring of Honor show.

I was walking down the boardwalk past Muscle Beach in Venice and saw Rob Van Dam, who is gigantic in person, and I turned to all of my non wrestling fan friends and said "Holy s*** is that Rob Van Dam?" They didn't care but he smiled, gave me a wave and kept walking.
My only interaction with a wrestler.

Wow,there are so many I couldn't list them all. Here's a few off the top of my head.
The one real jerk was Lex Luger in the late 80's...thought he was God's gift. Arrogant. Greg Valentine..Not a jerk, but had nothing to say and didn't seem to want to be there. Both times I met him. Roddy Piper...Maybe the best wrestler I've met. Couldn't have been nicer or more pleasant. ..Great guy.
Jimmy Snuka...Ditto for Superfly. Hugged us and thanked us for coming to see him. Awesome.
Terry Funk..Right up towards the top. Funny, nice, happy to talk with the fans there.Seemed impressed with my knowledge of the Amarillo territory.
Jim Ross..Not rude, but pretty close. Standoffish. Didn't seem to care. Larry Hennig..Nice guy! Talked to him for about 30 min about the old days. Nick Bockwinkel..Always a class act. Very cool, appreciative of the fans there.Great experience. George Steele...Seemed to just through the motions. Kinda disappointed me. King Kong Bundy..Really nice and pleasant guy. Had a few mins to chit chat. Harley Race..Was great to meet.Happy I got the chance. Very nice to all of us that day.
Hacksaw Duggan..You always hear about him being one of the coolest, and he didn't disappoint when I met him. Seems like a regular guy off the street. We talked for a few mins about the old Mid South area.
Demolition...Both were cool. Talkative and happy to sign and pose for pics. Jimmy Hart...out in front of table, hugging and shaking hands with fans. Great to meet. Greg Gagne/Jim Brunzell...Met them at once and among the best I've met. Super cool. Bob Orton Jr...Very friendly and happy to say hello and pose for a pic. Honky Tonk Man...Nice enough...was in a good mood. Mad Dog Vachon...Older and slowed down quite a bit. Very happy to see the fans. Big smile as he signed for everyone. Iron Sheik...Very polite and nice to us! Was going back and forth with a couple people...funny!

One of the friendliest dudes I've got to meet was the Boogie Woogie Man, Jimmy Valliant. Genuinely nice guy. As far as more current guys, Matt Hardy was pretty awesome; got to see him recentlty and when the line was long and dull, he'd notice and start a chant in the arena (DELETE DELETE DELETE). Another pretty cool dude was Enzo Amore. Now this was way back in like 2012. Before the Shield even debuted. There was an NXT show like 5 minutes from my house and Enzo was one of the dudes right when you came in selling shirts and programs. Even then he had the charisma to sell a bottle of shampoo to a bald man. I've never had a "rude" encounter. Closest thing to it was my fault honestly. At that NXT show, I noticed Dean Ambrose chilling in jeans and a hoodie at the back of the armory, and asked him to sign a picture between matches. He was obviously just trying to relax and stay somewhat hidden and i got a line forming near him. He scribbled a quick "DA", and after the line went away he hid back in the locker room. Felt a bit bad.

You found a thread that was dead for three and a half years, but you couldn't find the one that's about twenty-odd posts down from the stickies...seems legit.

Ive only met 3 wrestlers. Backlund, ill count, even though it was very quick since he was just being introduced as a mystery guest at the Q. Wish i had 50 bucks so i could have gotten my uncle in law an autograph. I also met Cesaro and Masuda at Axxess this year. Both nice, Cesaro even complemented my shirt. I havent had any bad interactions with wrestlers yet.

Jeff Hardy - very quiet and not very involved, he wasn't rude but it wasn't the most memorable of meetings Matt Hardy - asked me questions and was very friendly. This was before his broken days Bret Hart - again very quiet but in no way rude. This was around the time of his wrist injury so I felt bad having him sign and then shakin his hand. Oh well. Rey Mysterio - a nice down to earth guy. Not very talkative it he was really nice.
For now those are the only wrestlers I've met in person

One of the friendliest dudes I've got to meet was the Boogie Woogie Man, Jimmy Valliant. Genuinely nice guy. He and his wife are very truly nice people. I was traveling through Virginia to see a friend, a few years ago and I contacted them on their website to see if I could get his autograph on my Jakks classic. They invited me and I received a private tour of his several memorabilia rooms. This was on a day his school was not in session. We speak regularly and I am actually going to his place this Sunday and he and his wife, Angel, are actually making it a special occasion on their facebook page.

Shouldn't be a big deal I wouldn't think. Bumping old threads is almost always universally looked down upon on all message boards, and there are some boards that will boot you for doing it. Here, you'll get a warning not to do it again and have to suffer some joking ridicule from other members. (Oh, and "others have done the same thing" is never a good excuse. "Others" have done a LOT of things you don't want to be associated with...or maybe you do...I don't know you.)
