I like some of the older stuff. Not a huge country fan, but I do like Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Jr and Sr, Marty Robbins, Kenny Rogers, Merle Haggard, and Waylon Jennings.

I find modern country hard to listen to. Give me Cash and I'm content.

I hate it with all of my being. It's all mom mom ever listened to as I grew up. She refused to let me change the radio stations in the car as a kid, saying, "when I'm old enough to drive then I can pick the music."

I love the older stuff. And stuff more in between what I'd call "old" and "new" like Marty Stuart and Dwight Yoakam. Some may even consider that old these days. lol

Taylor Swift is just the worst. She's actually a genuinely talented singer though, which is more than can be said for 99% of music industry. I'm not embarrassed to say that I enjoy her first three albums. I've bought them over the years for my mother as christmas/birthday/mothers day presents and she likes them a lot. She's a huge fan of country music and literally listens to nothing but it. She even has tons of horses that she rides western.

I don't care how they package it and what they say it is... It's pop.

I didn't say she was Country . But that guy said that she is "the worst". When you've got Katy Perry's and Cheryl Cole's out there, putting Taylor in that category is pretty insulting to her. I liked the lighter Country tone she had in her first few albums. But her new album unfortunately has got a horribly cheap sound to it.

I'm not a Perry fan either, but I heard some of her stuff when she wasn't using all that auto-tune crap and I think I would actually prefer her voice to Swift's. There are tons of female artist out there today that deserve more recognition.

KP on the other hand (probably) wrote the abomination that is "hot and cold".

And yeah, that song makes me want to rip my ears off. Just awful.
