Sacked or not? I personally think we're in serious need of someone more consistent. Yes, Mancini's won three trophies for us, which is more than I can say for anyone in the last forty odd years, he fulfilled his promise to us that he'd get that banner down at old trafford mocking our lack of silver-wear and he's made some nice signings in his time with us. I like him and think that, if he'd been the manager when we came into the money and did all this then, he'd be a hero, because he's perfect for a team trying to move from one end of the table to the other. But now he's taken us to the top of the league, we really need someone who will keep us there and bring the best out in the players. I like Bobby, I really do, but I don't think it will be bad for the team if he goes, as long as the next gaffer is an upgrade, not a step down. What do we think? I'd love to see Jose Mourinho come in. I can dream!

Should stay in my opinion. Wasn't fully backed in the summer, so had to end up making some rash signings near the end of the window. Sacking him now sends out the wrong message, and would start a Chelsea-esque merry-go-round.

I'm hoping he can stay a little longer. I still believe we have the talent to beat just about any or Europe's top teams, we just aren't playing at our best right now.

Well yea, im sure if any of your managers from the previous 40 years had the money Mancini has to spend im sure they would have won trophies as well. He cant keep the egos in check and doesnt build from within like Fergie did with UTD. Pellegrini will be the same, why the foreigners? give it to someone British who atleast has some idea who Man City are about.

He was a gonner as soon as he took Tevez off for Rodwell, then you just knew Wigan were going to go on and win it. The man is the most negative manager I've seen in the league.

He doesn't manage the players well, not that its an easy job. Criticises them far too quickly in public and never accepts any blame.

Not a lot of managers get the boot for having a 75% win rate. Probably the biggest victim of Barca's success, would like to see him back at the Bernabeu some day.

Pellegrini is class. Hope Mancini is gone, not a fan at all.

He should be given more time, but my word he is such a boring manager. He uses such negative tactics, despite Manchester City having some of the best attacking players, not only in the division, but in the world.
I called Pellegrini taking over a few months ago. He's a great manager, and I can see him doing well at City, but I just feel this is going to be the start of the Chelsea-esque fiasco; if they go a season without winning anything, the manager will get the sack.

I've personally had a love-hate relationship with Mancini, I still can't get my head around all this cynical strategy (bringing on three defenders when we go 1-0 up after fifty minutes) it's just bonkers and no where near as entertaining as our team could be.
Look at players like David Silva and Samir Nasri. Two of the best. But recently they've been all over the place, it's as though neither of them have any motivation. The same could be said for Yaya Toure.
We should be doing far better than we are, and the players we have should make City the Barcelona of the Premier League. But I feel like Mancini just doesn't want to pull the trigger.

Seems strange to do it now especially on the eve of a game, should of just waited until Sunday.
Oh well, atleast we won't have to put up with his irritating english accent.

Bit harsh. They probably delayed it until late last night to avoid United fans gloating even more about it at the parade.
