I used white paint for painting black sneakers. But when painting the white on the black you can still see the black a little bit. Whats wrong?

Obviously when painting a light color over a dark one, the dark is going to show through. Give it another coat of white, 2 if you still see some dark spots.

try using a light colour like yellow first as it acts as a great primer

Wouldn't white itself be the best primer?

Wouldn't white itself be the best primer? Yellow will cover the black much better than white will, and white will cover yellow better than it will cover black. Come on people, this isn't rocket science.
