A really sad day for me two years ago today, and even now. As long back as I can remember or was even able to remember, remembering. One of my earliest memories in life was "The Macho Man Randy Savage" as I grew up in the 90's watching wrestling I liked him even more. I remember my dad taking me to the Jackson Coliseum to see Wrestling I was psyched to see "The Macho Man". I lost a part of my life when he past away, I may have not known the man but I respected him,I enjoyed seeing him, listening to him, he entertained people like me most of his life. He was a constant reminder of happier times when I was growing up as a kid, After his passing I realized I didn't have too many of those reminders left....He was one of my biggest heroes and someone I will never forget. Randy Mario Poffo (November 15, 1952 – May 20, 2011) It would be nice if they atleast mentioned him on RAW tonight. It has been two years but i think he should still be remembered and reminded to the people that He really was one of the Greatest Wrestling Superstars Of ALL TIME!

I heard Punk was scheduled for this RAW or something along those lines. Would not be surprised if he wore a Macho Man t-shirt or something like that.

Randy Savage is the one I idolized the most growing up. Believe it or not, I was never a Hulk~a~maniac, I was all about Macho Madness. And because of Randy I became hooked into professional wrestling at such a young age, and almost 30 years later, I've never stopped watching. He was the man!

It still sickens me that they couldn't get things worked out so he could be inducted into the HOF before he died. It would've been awesome to see him one last time.

I have to say, with a lot of deaths in wrestling, I've kinda gotten desensitized when I hear someone has passed, but when I heard that Savage died, I remember being in actual shock. He was just one of those guys that had that kinda aura about him, like he'd never die. Sad thing is, in the couple years before his death, there was clearly a bit of mending of fences going on, and if he hadn't died, we may have gotten him in the HOF by now, or in the coming couple of years.

There's an excellent article on The Bleacher Report today about his death. A lot of very interesting items in this article... bleacherreport.com/articles/1643969-the-final-days-of-randy-macho-man-savage?utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=programmingAfter reading the article - if we believe what Lanny Poffo is saying - then I say, go ahead and induct the whole Poffo family, if that really is the way Randy felt about it. I wonder if anyone else would verify Lanny's story? I miss him a lot - he was always one of my favorites. His feuds with Hogan, Jake "The Snake", Ric Flair, and later in WCW, against DDP.... lots of fun every time. He brought so much energy to every feud he was involved in. It's a shame he felt the need to distance himself from wrestling in his final years - but it seems like he was content. I hope it's okay to post this link - I found the article to be fascinating. I'll remove it if it'll get me in trouble...

RIP Randy Savage. He was almost the perfect pro wrestler-colorful character, great physique, can fly through the air, often imitated in interviews.

So he called him, and gave him this message about how thankful he was to have Savage help his career, and how much it meant working with him. Then when he saw Savage, weeks later, he told him how he played it for his dad, and he told Randy no wrestler ever did that for him. Randy then told DDP how much that message meant to him, and gave him a big hug.
