can't believe this didn't get more replies - this is basically what we'll get for Elite Curtis Axel and some of us are willingly going to pay $29.99 for him!

Not sure why everyone hates this? Took me a second to throw together. The head looks a tad large in that pic...but the McGillicutty head is just kinda bigger then other heads. I used all the right parts. McGillicutty head, arms and pads. Austin legs....to have the short boots. skinny torso....he only weighs 230lbs. the height is about right too. I didn't acetone the Cody Rhodes logos off....and paint Curtis Axels designs on there...because i threw this together quickly....I can't paint well, and there's no use in ruining a Cody Rhodes figures trunks for McGillicutty. like it or not....this is what Mattel would make too

also, don't worry. I had extra Cody Rhodes and Austin figs. they cost me maybe $3 each. Not to mention I can just put them back together...since I didn't break, paint or acetone anything. I actually lied about where the calves came from anyway If I told u the truth.......that would just annoy yall even more

thought about it. I actually checked ebay for McGillicutty figures 5 mins after he was on RAW. But the cheapest was like 27 bux. Now its just gonna get more expensive. If i can track down another McGillicutty head for a reasonable price....then I have no problem acetoning the trunks and selling it on ebay.

I dont really like the body. Its not that you chose a "wrong" body but I just dont think that with the head being as big as it is (not your fault) looks good on that body. Personally I would probably shoot for the Funk/Blanchard type torso...While Axel is only 230lbs, Blanchard was just 225lbs

Personally I would probably shoot for the Funk/Blanchard type torso...While Axel is only 230lbs, Blanchard was just 225lbs in person it looks fine. I don't know why it kinda looks like a bobble head in the first pic. Maybe a funk torso would be better....but when I was making Magnum....I realized that the ppl that use that torso (Magnum, Funk, Arn, Jake the Snake)[forgot about Tully cuz i don't have him] are all at least 240lbs. So in my mind, that torso is for wrestlers in the 240-255 range and Mcgillicutty is almost a half a foot taller than Tully. Tully's a short knocker.....which accounts for the stockiness

They'll probably use Orton's body with different lower legs/boots.

I had already made an elite McGillicutty using my E13 Cody body and his head & arms. I wonder where my Austin legs went cause I would definitely put those on him. Thanks for the heads-up, man. No clue why people are railing on you??

I like it, original, pretty quick thinking. And who knows how long before we get a Curtis Axel figure from Mattel anyways. I have to get me a henning Jr head on the Bay and use your idea for a custom, credit will go to you when I do of course..... Again good figure, but are you going to paint his trunks and all?

Why I like this fix-up is because it not only speaks to the shear capitalism over the simplicity of figure that MDT will take 9-12 months to slap together and will be on RSC pre-order for $30+, but I think it speaks VOLUMES of how uninspiring WWE Creative is to repackage this guy like this.

9-12 months?? I guess.... I mean, I doubt he's going to be big enough to even get an elite! Slapping him with Paul Heyman doesnt make any sense to me. Changing his name?? Guess it couldn't hurt. My problem is that he never got any traction, even when he was a Tag Team champion. This guy used to come out with the same look.... Wearing a hat backwards like he was a frat boy!! At least when this flops, he absolutely has no one else to blame for his short comings.
Don't get me wrong, I love Mr. Perfect! But Curtis Axel, please!! convince me I'm wrong!!

I don't remember him wearing trunks with "CR" on them in his debut...
