If you steal Coke's formula then you're making the same thing Coke is at lower prices. Thus, you use their research, their product development and the power of their brand name to sell your product. But this is fine with you? And this doesn't harm Coke at all?
So essentially you are saying that if you steal my work, it's my fault? Really?

At some point in history someone somewhere came across corn. And then someone figured out you have to cook it, AND peel the husk off. So does that mean that for centurys man has been stealing someone elses invention? Is corn too much of a simple example for you? At some point someone figured if I take wheat and grind it I get flour, and then if I take that flour and add eggs, water, buter, and so on I'll get bread. Does that mean that everyone making bread has now stolen that first persons idea? I would think no. In Coke's case I would argue that you'll never steal anything from them. You can take the exact recepie and never actually have coke-cola. You neither have their equipment to properly handle/mix products together nor will you have their exact measures. What if I've never seen the recepie but yet I try to make a similar drink, and what if it ends up tasting as good if not better than Coke-Cola? Did I steal anything? I was just tinkering in my kitchen. It's all just greed.

I was just tinkering in my kitchen. It's all just greed. I love how you have no idea at all how something works so you just rage against it. Good times. You do realize you can't patent/trademark something that's obvious right? You do also realize that when bread was created that there wasn't even any sort of legal system so your point is completely moot. Also, who puts eggs and butter in their bread recipe??? Have you never made bread before in your life? But that's another topic. In Coke's case, why would you not have coca-cola if you had their recipe? You know the ingredients. You know the measurements. That's what a recipe is. If you had Coke's recipe and a bottling factory on hand, why could you not put something together that would taste pretty damn close to Coca-cola. (Now I want a coca-cola.) Why would a brand new drink you cooked up in your kitchen constitute theft of anything? Not sure what your point is. If I take your drink and bottle it and sell it under my own brand name without giving you a dime is that ok?
