First of all can we please leave personal feelings for Benoit out of this. We know what he did and some choose to like him and others not. Both is cool but if you can't keep personal feelings outta it then please don't comment.
So as you guys may or may not know, Chris Jericho "won" the WWF Title on a Raw from HHH not long after WM from HHH, only for the win to be negated and forgotten not long after...
Chris Benoit had the same thing happen to him...twice...

Anyway my question to you guys is, do you consider these legit title wins?
We know the WWE does not count these in the record books and that there have been alot of examples of false title switches. I've always considered these to be legit, especially the Benoit ones considering the matches were restarted after he won the title and meaning that he was technically defending the title. I get that it would take away from Jericho's big night against Rock and Austin and Benoit's eventual big win at WM20, but I've consider these more screwjobs than anything that don't hurt their eventual big title wins.
So what do you guys think?

"Restarting" the match doesn't mean a completely new match where Benoit was champion. "Restarting" the match would mean restarting the match under the circumstances before the end of the match, meaning that the champion is still the champion. Jericho's would have more of a point than Benoit's, as he won it and the match was done and over before he was stripped of it. Atleast that's how I feel.

I technically wouldn't count either but it was so annoying that Benoit got screwed out of the title twice with rules that normally wouldn't change the outcome. That and Benoit wa my favourite wrestler It's a shame these didn't happen but both got bigger and much more meaningful first world title wins that are as memorable as any. Beniots especially, MSG, WrestleMania, the biggest WrestleMania arguably of the decade, triple h and hbk in the main event and Benoit makes the man who wanted the spotlight for most of the 2000s to tap out. Was so flubbering awesome!

If Jericho's win over Triple H doesn't count then neither of these count.
So...I'd say no.

Technically yes, legitimately no. I'd count them if it wasn't jammed into our heads that Rock walked in and out as champion there, or Hunter in and out as champion as well.

If these title reigns counted then technically Owen Hart (1994) would also be a world champion .

I count jerichos, mainly because he held it more than 2 minutes. Beniots matches were restarted so I don't count them, but jerichos yes.
