Ive heard about a few things, but Apoxie is a bit out of my price range and Im pretty sure I cant put a head covered with Sculpey in the oven without things going wrong. Who can suggest something affordable, since this is my first attempt and need extra in case of mistakes, and preferably doesnt need to bake. Im planning a Sin Cara so the whole head will be covered, maybe that might keep the head from getting wrecked in an oven if I must.

Regarding Sculpey,no,you can't bake it in the oven, but you can boil it in water and it will harden up just the same as if it had been baked. I use this method frequently since Sculpey is so easy to find, not to mention it's cheap.
